Nick's dad sounds just like him when he is speaking, soft spoken and any one who is a really nice guy next door. Happy I got hear his guy. Such great love between them
I love his personality, reminds me George Michael in a way, with kindness with such positive influence on his fans. His songs are “him”, he doesn’t”just” sing them…
West park avenue was the street I grew up on ..I lived at number 3 .mick lived at number 30 .. remember when mick had his 1st number 1 and he and a few band m8s came up wpa in his mazda mx5 playing moneys too tight to mention ... reg is dad was a great bloke
Grew up on his dad's street met Mick a few times. His dad reg was lovely, used to pick gooseberries from his garden 😁 then when in college years used to walk to the bus stop with him when he was going to Hyde. Was very sad to hear when his dad passed, I believe Mick sang in one of the local pubs on his dad's wake. Met Mick a few times aswell. Love this video ❤️
Love this history, and his wonderful first accounts of how he launched in his childhood home and his intention... It resonates to me, today. Holding back the Years... 1985- present. I'm in the "fanily" and there are thousands of us.
At 3:08 when Mick says "I never understand this with people who say that they're sick of their own songs." I love that! I'm always baffled by that too. I feel like that's disrespect to the songs they wrote themselves and were a huge hit and that people STILL wanna hear. He gets it. ❤
Por eso es grande, ni la fama ni el dinero, han podido cambiar el alma sencilla de este gran hombre y por esa sencillez y su elegancia sus fans lo siguen amando...
He doesn't "keep" his dad... it's his dad's house. Mick moved out for college, and moved forward. Obviously, Mick enjoys going back and his dad enjoys it as well, since he still has his room with many of his childhood belongings. I don't think he'd leave it considering all their memories there.
@@karencarlos3942 Oprah never cared much for her mother but still bought her a million dollar condo in Milwaukee somewhere. Mick could have upgraded his dads style of living.
@@melissaresendes8966 I can see your point. The home looks in good shape. It's possible that his dad didn't want to leave and Mick had the home remodeled. If he would not take govt assistance back in the day, and he worked his whole life paying it off, then he might not accept a new house from his son. We really can't know every detail in a 10min interview.
@@melissaresendes8966 It doesn’t show what led up to his reaction, but it sounds as if he had already had asked them to stop and they did not. These are clearly not fans but 2 paparazzi running up on him, evidenced in part by their complete silence. Besides that, in a span of 25 seconds the video repeats itself with the same reaction from 2 different angles; 1 from the guy behind him and one from the guy that ran up on him. I tried to find some other videos displaying him being mean or rude to fans, but nothing emerged.

On top of being mean to his fans, he keeps his dad in cheap housing.

@@karencarlos3942 TH-cam Mick Hucknall with fans. He's simply miserable.
