The only bad thing about this interview is that it is way too short. I could listen to Mick's stories for hours.
Mickie your dad would have been so proud of you if he could see you now ,what you have done with your live and gift that you have, you're voice and still be humble. Hope you come to New Zealand one.day.❤😊nj
You still have an amazing voice. Love your talent. Hopefully, you will keep going forever ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love Mick's voice 🥰🇲🇽❤️
How nice to see Mick Hucknall. And Ken Bruce too of course 😄
Totally agree about the year 1970.
Mic has a thyroid problem due to excessive partying . I don't believe he does drugs anymore. He's one of the greatest soul singers Ever🎉 live him
I wonder if it is the lack of iodine in food in Britain more than the partying. Iodine is low in the West including Western Europe and North America. His thyroid may be more because of where he lives than staying up late. Maybe also his love of wine too.. But I empathize with him having those struggles. Also Kombu in small portions, having a chlorine blocking shower filter, and reducing sodas (bromine which steals iodine from the thyroid) as well as taking Brazil nuts (1per day) can help balance and fix the thyroid.
You have no idea how much I love you.
I spent my night thinking about you.
I thank the universe for bringing you my way. 💖💖
Best singer ever.
Mick Hucknall is a gentleman
Holy shit Simply Red is a fucking legend!!!
Love Mick Hucknall fellow Manc 🇬🇧👍
I thought he was from Denton in Lancs.
When he was born in 1960, it would have been part of the city of Salford.
@@steffanhoffmann St Marys Hospital Manchester to be more precise
@@saxocoustic Thank you 👍
Legend
Mick tan lindo y bello como siempre 🎉
lol he has aged so much ❤
A phenomenal voice. One of the very best… and to be honest, I’m not a huge fan. But boy can he sing.
I recall the early seventies too, it was an endless littany of war and murders in Beirut, Vietnam, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Basque country etc. The music though was very good, just before the silly bit fun Glam Rock. I moved to London in '86 and lo and behold some midlands geezer with an awesome voice rolled up, was grabbed by the Americans for collaberations. . .
Magnifica entrevista, conocer un poco más Mick Hucknall, merece la pena y el presentador ME ENCANTA QUÉ BIEN LO HACE

That's not a lie! You look really good! 🥰
Knighthood incoming! Well over due.
He must have listened to “Sunshine In Their Eyes”.
He has muscular and eye-captivating forearms!
Which Stevie song is he referring to?
Melody he sang sounded like “Sunshine In Their Eyes” from Where I’m Coming From. 2:58

The song is Never Ever Had A Dream Come True from the album Signed, Sealed & Delivered
No it's from the song "Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red.
It is what arijitsengupta said, the Stevie Wonder song he riffed is "Never Had a Dream Come True" from Signed, Sealed, Delivered from 1970.
The song "Sunshine In Their Eyes" had some what of the same melody or flow in parts, and that album came out in 1971. To me the song had more of a Beetles feel similar to a Sgt. Pepper's type of flow, with a social message behind it.
No, better with you honey 😍🥰🤩😘
he saw the sex pistols and formed a band.
Is Mick pissed or stoned? 😳 sounds it and wearing sunglasses in the studio makes you wonder 🤔
I read he has an eye condition. Very sensitive to bright lights. Some redheads are almost like albinos.
Agree...Stoned at 9:37 am, and you just gotta put those sunglasses on....in a studio with no windows.
He’s crap
@@Lorenzo-cp7qshe's still better than you, you saddo 🤣
What were his favourite songs? Were they all mentioned?
