I would have built a roll cage for that fuel cell to sit in. Sort of like the prerunners. The engine actually absorbs some of the front impact in a crash. Just my 2 cents . But I am older and more of a scary cat 🐱. Great build.
The front end can take a couple lbs as you are prob closer to a 40/60 weight distribution. If you can get the battery before the tires it would be better. Passenger inner fender would be easy. A cut off switch for the battery.
Back in the late 70's my father and I built a car from a bunch of other cars with the same basic idea (engine behind the passenger compartment). The problem we ran into in regards to road handling and performance was that the front was way too light. On a dirt or gavel road, or on a paved road with water, dirt, gravel on it, the front would slide when we would try to corner at speed. We needed to add a lot of weight to the front to weigh the car down so this wouldn't happen. You may run into that handling and performance obstacle as well. Heads-up.
I gave him some ideas, running a radiator in the front, windshield reservoir, battery, reinforced gas tank, and front cage bracing like the prerunner to add weight. Maybe electronic assisted steering.

@@JoeSparro the Delorean had a front mounted radiator. 🧐 then just pipe hoses to the front.

Saw some other builder don’t remember who bought a fuel cell look just like that from Amazon and the sending unit was backwards
