I can OFFICIALLY now say that I prefer the look of the white laces as they just stand out / look more complementary IMO. Now trying to decide on the most accurate pair to get as I absolutely want some...

From further research it seems Bruce wore three different types of shoes in the film, GOD. Moonstar Jaguar IS, indeed, believed to possibly be the main ones we see featured. The Bruce Lee Fan Club also made a pair of exact replicas back in 1997 for limited sale -- but those are nearly impossible to find now and feature an obscene amount of money these days when they DO spring up for sale. Was wondering your thoughts on the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Slip-ons as they are all solid yellow around the toe box instead of that slightly darker tan material on the regular Mexico 66's. I'm also looking at the Tai Chi's as they just look ascetically nicer looking -- but they are definitely more Kill Bill homages. Again, I don't intend to wear these ever; just one day (hopefully) display them, along with a tracksuit and bracelet and nunchaku, on a mannequin in my future mancave. @@tasken_lander_redux4775 Hi, I can see where you are coming from with the Mexico 66 slip-on. To be honest, there is no shoe that matches 100% unless it is customized like the fan club version. Although the colour of the slip on is solid yellow, bearing in mind in GOD, Bruce Lee did have laces on his pair. Tai Chi is definitely more Kill Bill. I went with the Mexico 66 with laces because I thought it resembles the closest and also Master Lee wore Onitsuka Tigers casually including the Mexico 66 white pair. In my opinion, if the shoes had more white on them, then go with the white laces. But since the shoe has virtually no white on it, the yellow laces are perfect. Thanks for the vid. Any Onitsuka Tiger vid is a good vid!

A friend of mine took me to the mall couple of days ago to buy me some shoes and she decided to tiger, I was hum 🤔 cuz I never knew it before but now I can witness myself, is definitely one the best quality shoes I’ve ever wore.
Thanks for this video. I’ve have had various colour ways in the past of regular Mex 66. just purchased the sd in cream for more of a smarter casual occasion than a Daily beater. The sd does have a really supple leather so I’m not disappointed. These are a great iconic retro and far slimmer than Nike Cortez or adidas samba Stan smith etc which are chunkier. Only issue is that it’s too tempting to add more items to your online basket.

A few things to point out -Shoe Laces and Tread are Yellow Instead of White like you pointed out -The Onisuka Tigers/Asics stripe pattern changed over time from it's early days of being a Adidas knock off I can send you an email with pictures of Bruce Lee's shoes to help you understand what I am saying. I took a ton of screen shots from as many angles as I possibly could from "Game of Death" back in Oct 12, 2020.
To be honest, I would not consider it as a proper running shoe, it is more track and field. Just had a quick glance at the series, the model looks exactly like the one in my review. Hope this helps? 🙂

Hi, going by my pair and the feedback from forums, 60% said OT's runs slightly big. Personally, for me, my standard Nike size is UK 10, then for OT it is UK 9.5, basically need to order half a size down. In my review I got UK 9 because I wanted a slimmer look and more cushioned, the leather will eventually loosen the more you wear it, but in hindsight, my true OT Size should be UK 9.5. However, everyone's feet are different and also depend on the climate and environment when you wear them. As always, best to try it physically if you can. Hope this helps? Would be good to know how your sizing fits so more people can compare?

During his lifetime Bruce Lee never wore the ONITSUKA TIGER MEXICO 66 YELLOW/BLACK, let alone the white ones to the red and blue bands that can be seen in the making-of of Game of Death or in the Enter the Dragon rushes. The ONITSUKA TIGER MEXICO 66 YELLOW/BLACK came out widely after his death. The pair he put on in Game of Death were MOONSTAR. Cordially.

It is man-made. Synthetic suede is also known as 'faux suede'. It is an animal friendly material made from polyester and mixed with plastic. Hope this helps.

Bruce's yellow shoes in Game of Death were actually Moonstars. I'm not sure why Moonstar hasn't tried to capitalize on that.
