- This is a story about How I ended up getting a Kia Forte Koup instead of another intended car that I was suppose to get at that moment. And I am glad I've made the right Choice, or else I am probably be regretting my decision by now.

I also have a Koup, and oath, the motivation to drive everywhere is, well, motivating! I’ve done mods to it as well, and boy, it’s a lot of fun! And yeah, Kia used to have a bad name, but they’re such good cars now days!

I was looking for a soul to get my wife. I happened to find one of the high end souls at a local hyundai and went up there. When I arrived they literally just unloaded a 2011 kia forte koup sx jet black. I told my wife I wanted to check it out... We drove away in it that day and I completely love it! I will have it paid off 2020 (in six month's) and I'm already buying mods! 🤣 🤣 🤣 I wish companies would stop overlooking these cars and make performance parts.
I just bought one a fully optioned out one with low KM, manual transmission and sport suspension makes it so fun.
I've had the sport version for 8 years. Completely reliable, no problems. Nice exhaust sound when you turn the ignition.
On my koup the blue is called ' abyss' blue and it's about the same color. Also he called it his dream car, smart man.

I have this car only the sport edition. Love the car...time to trade it in...but It's a great starter car regardless if you like turning or not.

You bought at Yap brother, the recon dealer. U definitely use your own pocket money to bought the Car, you know what? Cause your parents didn't know the car until you bring the Car back.. because my parents got support me some, hence I cannot take the new persona, but now the bezza also serving me a good job. That colour same with you. I called the Subaru Blue. Agree?
As for a bezza I actually love the blue ... it kinda makes the car feel special

How long have you owned the car? I would like to know about its reliability!
I bought the car used manufactured on 2012, I would say 3 years already and the car is already 7 years old, so far there are no problem, except for the Power Steering Coupler worn off which the parts cost about rm30 to replace if you DIY yourself like how i did.
I have owned mine for going on 4 years. The only problem is the steering wheel entertainment controls and the fog light switch. Nothing other than that.
I've seen 1 milage 100++ km but condition still good. Price 35k i wonder if i'll try without deposit, thinking now..😮💨

@@gordonsoo Yeah np, hey man I'm looking into getting a 2012 Forte Koup SX with 100,000 miles on it as a first car because I think it'd be a fun little car that would be easy to work on and looks great. The only things that I'm kinda skeptical on is the reliability of the car and how expensive it would be. I would plan on doing most repairs myself unless of course the engine blew up or something. Is it reliable? Is it cheap to own/repair?

These things are lemons. Over 1.5 millions hyundais and kias with the SAME ENGINE blow up. My 2013 blew up. $5000 out the pocket for a new engine and install. The theta 2 engine is SHIT and kia needs to recall their koups like their sorentos and every otber engine with the theta 2 THAT THEY RECALLED!!
