Terraria, But All Weapons Deal Random Damage...

- In this video I play Terraria but I installed a mod that randomizes the damage of all weapons meaning that a wooden sword can deal over 100 damage while the Zenith has the chance to deal only 1 damage. Will I be able to beat Moon Lord or will all my weapons end up getting randomized to deal puny damage. Stay tuned to find out!

even tho he couldn't afford the minishark, he still had enough for 322 damage 54% crit flitlock pistol
at 12:50 u missed the flintlock pistol that dealt 300 ranged damage

That's on par with calamity ranged equipment.

and the minishark with 160 ranged dmg with insane speed and knockback, with 59 crit chance
Even American-er gun
The minishark in there dealt 160 damage, too
And had 53% crit chance D:
you could perhaps do biome only weapons where you pick a biome and only use weapons from it
I did this with snow biome and it's totally possible!

Mod idea; random accessories. Anything or anywhere you can find an accessory, it will be replaced with a different one. So a wood chest with a guide to plant fiber cordiage could be the ankh shield

Imagine if the Copper Broadsword would've dealt more damage than the Ark of the Cosmos from Calamity
it still wouldn't be as strong cuz ark of cosmos fires projectiles and the copper broadsword does not it would basically just be ark of cosmos if it was true melee

um edit i just realized if u were against a boss that oneshots u it would probably be better to just use a mage or ranged weapon instead of ark of the cosmos so... idrk

Necro should do one where all chest loot is random. The basic idea is that you could get anything from the band of starpower to a titanium broad sword to even a pair of nebula wings in any given chest in the world.
thats too easy, theres a video like that already and they got op loot in minutes
I have done this but stuck with a small world to minimize chest spawns and while getting some OP items was possible it was really hard to get certain things tied to chests like the Cobalt Shield. Do this on a super difficult world and you will actually have a normalish game with the fun of random chest loot. Fun way to satisfy a gambling kick.

Fun thing, even if zenith gets 1dmg, it's still stronger than a 100dmg wooden sword
I mean, you're not wrong when you think outside the actual damage
zenith with 1 damage deals only 20-50 dps if youre lucky with crits, wooden sword with 100 damage has 300+ dps no crits

Dungeon fishing is a good alternative if you cant get your hands on a shadow key

Imagine having this randomizer and then playing like spirit/tremor/calamity and thorium bosses.
This would be fun if it auto-balanced the stats to have a similar DPS to vanilla, but with the attack speed and damage changed.
It happened to me too. There was no shadow key in my dungeon. I had to make another small world, kill Skeletron again and get a shadow key from the dungeon there

Vien Miner mod, most Terraria TH-camrs use this mod to save time with mining. What it does is that you can whitelist certain blocks in the game, and those whitelisted items will break with other identical blocks. He whitelisted sapphire, so the sapphire he mined, and the sapphire connected to it were also mined. There are a lot more things about the mod, but I haven't played modded terraria in months so I forgor most of it
