I think it makes sense that a song about Freya wouldn’t be so aggressive. A drop would have painted a picture of a destructive and ruthless goddess. While Freya is not just about war but about love. When her enemies fall it isn’t just a defeat but almost an act of mercy. She doesn’t want to take a life needlessly as love is her mark.
