So regarding the vocals both the female members voices are used. Suzanne tends to do the talking vocals (Dream) and Claudia Brucken is the main vocalist. I LOVE her voice, very unique. I saw her in concert a few years back with guests including members of Propaganda, Andy Bell, Glenn Gregory(Heaven 17) and Paul Humphries of OMD (with whom she formed a group OneTwo). I love the marching beat at the beginning like being brought to the courtroom, then the trial for the murder of love but regret at the verdict and asking them to plead for mercy. Fabulous. Like you say it again shifts in texture and mood. It is very Eighties but it's quality stuff.

This song is a masterpiece where Claudia Brücken exposes all her vocal versatility alongside a powerful band behind her. I listen and listen to this song and my brain explodes! thanks Matt

Michael in the band is a Düsseldorf philharmonic percussionist.
The only group member actually playing an instrument on the album?
Ralf writes the lyrics, Claudia sings and Suzanne talks here and there.

The music and sonics on this album are superb, but it’s Claudia Brucken’s unique and engaging vocal quality that just elevates each track, setting Propaganda apart from their contemporaries, and that quality is very evident on this track.

I really enjoyed that. The double fade at the end was quite novel and a first for me. Just a female vocalist in the band.

Haha, yeah, it sort of throws off my fadeout-ending calculus. And cheers, thanks for clarifying.
