Well, at least his Pixar character, Carl Fredricksen is with Ellie once again. I’m so proud of Russell for making his last remaining years so meaningful. He is such a good little boy and Carl’s voice actor, Ed Asner, was the most kind-hearted man everyone has ever known.

i just aged myself, with these next few words... been watching this amazing show since Charles Bishop Kuralt days, right before joining the navy and get my a$$ shipped to persian gulf on the uss missouri (bb-63). always love his point of view, especially his worldview!

I didn’t realize he was in Dead to Me. I just started watching. It has a different feel seeing him. He was great. And Up. Ohmagosh

Mr. Lou Grant and one of the BEST Santa's EVER❗THE Home Coming is one of the BEST CHRISTMAS movies I've seen. He played a Great villain in the Western El Dorado too.
Ed was one of the all time BEST.
He was in dink Las Cruces, NM for a fundraiser about ten years ago. Wish I'd gone to see him. RIP

I think the reference is to the type...he won one for Comedy...the other for Drama!
