Lauren, I completely understand what you’re going through. I’m soon to be 42 & often feel so frustrated and sad about where I am in life. Not to say that my life is horrible but I know I can do better because I know better. I’ve been reading my Bible, praying and doing 3 day water fasting. I’ve tried the Daniel fast but it only lasted about 2weeks. I’m so glad you shared this testimony. I’m going to do the Daniel fast and complete it this time and allow God to order my steps like he’s been doing. It might get tough at times but I know where my help comes from. Hey sis! I strongly encourage the Daniel fast, as it not only brings you peace but it allows the mind and body to be clear so that God may be able to speak to you in ways you never would've imagined. God doesn’t bless no mess - you are so right and I needed to hear that at this moment. I recently also heard the following, “the miracle is in the management” - and he equips us with the mental and physical resources to do so - we just let other things and folks to get in the way. Let’s not fret about that - we may acknowledge it so we limit those things in the future - but nonetheless use it as fuel for marching differently going forward! Sending healing vibes to the tribe! 💜

Good for you for following your heart and going back to school. I too know the feeling of wanting to finish what I started. I graduated with my associates in business in 2014. When I was done I was tired but always said when I feel up to it I want to finish what I started. Right before the pandemic Sept 2019 I started back to school and took my time, went at my pace. 2021 my brother was murdered and I took a small break and got back to it. I didn’t graduate until Dec 2023. December 2023 walked across the stage, January 2024 I received my official transcript and started applying myself to promotions fr there. Feb 2024 was my 1st interview out of many but the one I knew I wanted. April 2024 started my promotion where I wanted. I too am in my 40’s. Just stick it out, things will fall in place. Good luck.

Hi Lauren, I appreciate your transparency and think that we as women go through and carry a lot especially when we’re wives, mothers, daughters,sisters, working women, stay at home women, whatever hat we may wear comes with a lot of responsibilities and sometimes it’s easy to loose focus and put our wellbeing on the back burner. You’re doing great!! I’m proud of you!! We can’t be whatever we are to others if we’re not 100% our best self. Get that quiet quality time alone and work on you and it’s ok to reprioritize things for where you are at that moment. Thanks again!

Hey Friend! Remember God is a God of mercy and grace. He wants to see us succeed hence why he frowns upon the lazy. Lauren I so appreciate you being transparent I'm to going through somethings I have been praying and try to give all to God but I do need to fast and pray to get delivered from bondage and past trauma from a toxic relationship it's been very emotional when crying out to God. I've been there!!!!! Please know that you are in my prayers and God is a healer! When we give it to God we have to learn how to leave it there no matter how hard it can be. Love, love, love your honestly just know that the good Lord got you ALWAYS 🙏🏽 I was going through a low period where I hated my home I didn't entertain I didn't invite people over nothing. One day I found myself watching you tube and landed on your channel. Lauren because of you, you have shown me how to make my place beautiful. I now entertain and have dinner parties, everyone says my home looks like it belongs in a magazine my husband loves our home and tells me daily how proud he is. I do believe the good Lord guides us to where we need to be and I needed to be watching your channel, so thank you Lauren from the bottom of my heart for lighting a fire under me and letting me know I can do this just take baby steps. I'm currently working on the kitchen and when that's done my home will be finished.😊

Hi Lauren, first and foremost I want to congratulate you for your bravery in being vulnerable and sharing what is so very personal to you with your followers. You spoke to me loud and clear and you had me in tears. I live in Miami, hoping you move here soon! I have watched Designing Miami, so I know exactly what you mean about being inspired. Sadly, I went to college for interior design and dropped out because I was a mom of two small ones and couldn’t keep up. I then went to real estate school, but didn’t take the time to actually take the test to become licensed. My dream was to flip houses as well. I was notorious for starting and never finishing just like you said. I am a Christian and have been a functioning depressed person myself for many years, but mask it very well in front of others. I felt you talking to me 😭 I would love to try the fasting diet you did. You look amazing and beautiful!!! So very PROUD of you!!! God is good all the time. We almost have the same exact, short term goals. I'm currently working on launching my home interior design business after putting if off for many years. Just finished all the legal aspect of setting up my business...LLC, contracts, bank account, and currently working on branding. Planning on opening before the end of the summer or sooner. Want to get started before the holidays. I am also planning on purchasing properties but not flipping, just rental properties. Good luck to you!!
