Probably practiced how to breathe really fast while playing the clarinet
@@shirohatakee yeah lol
stamina excercises and just practice
As a beginner who is playing the clarinet.. I thought it was impossible for me to ever play the clarinet but now seeing someone playing the hardest song in the world. You have helped me gain confidence and from now on I will keep trying until I can play the clarinet!
As someone who is genuinely trying to play clarinet, i hold much respect for clarinet players. Not only is this guy tonguing his notes faster than the speed of light, but also the BREATH CONTROL. Clarinet requires you to have 3 lungs I swear
*chuckles in brass
It's easier once you figure out your embrochure and get used to the right air pressure needed
*chuckles in low brass
*chuckles in saxophone
*chuckles in flute
I see a lot of clarinetists in here but let me put it simply:
We are the best, obv. That’s why we have such god-level tier clarinetists playing this seemingly impossible song. You need not fear our brethren. Simply applaud the greatness that comes from us
@@splatmander no
I just wanna say, trumpets can do some insane stuff.
@@chlosh2191 I can’t hear them cause they always blow my ears off :( (context, I sit right in front of trumpets)
@Kris’s Kosmo Yeah, they do that sometimes
Piano is the best instrument because you can actually play things like cords
As a clarinet beginner I’m impressed and speechless.
Stick with it and eventually you'll be able to do some of this stuff. -❤️❤️ From an experienced clarinet player
(Also look into taking clarinet lessons if you have the option available to you. It will help you a lot in the long run should you stick with it 😊)
As a short time violin player and a clarinet player myself this is single handedly the most impressive thin I think anyone has ever played.
As a guitarist who started with trumpet, I respect you’re skill so much the way you just casually play this while you look like you have fun with it, you must of practiced this for hours to beable to do that without having you’re in the zone face on 😂
fellow trumpeteer
I play the clarinet too, I can’t believe someone was able to do it on a brass or woodwind since they require air
plus clarinets can only play 1 note at a time
That was the most amazing yet terrifying 2 minutes and 20 seconds of my life.. AMAZING!!
*21 seconds actually*
@@--Kassidy-- same vibes of when hermione said it’s leviosa not LeViOsA
HOLY CRAP. THE TOUNGING TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS??? THIS MAN IS AMAZING.
I would have literally suffocated and died the first couple of seconds into that song. Kudos to you, man.
The closest I'd get is spamming E for two seconds
You look so chill as you play, it's quite impressive. And your tone remains very good during the increasing difficult sections. Awesome!
As a flutist with 4+ years of experience, I can say with confidence, i couldn't tongue like that for the life of me, good job bro
that's what she said
@@abagofruffles2941 🤣
As a flute with 8 years of experience, I can say that I couldn’t tongue like that, either. I just don’t tongue in the first place :)
Edit: a word
4+ is not that much lmao anyone who’s done middle and high school band will have 7
@@jeffreyfiggins4573 your point? 4+ years is still plenty enough to know how to play
As a also clarinet player,
It is quite cool that he isn't passing out, but I will now practice this very song, but give me until my expiration date comes
The respect in this room right now is ✨astronomical ✨
Based on the notes I just heard..... the ladies must love this guy. His tongue is incredibly talented.
this reply is the best one
😏
*But why not guys*
Ya nasty
I bet he could finish a tootsie pop real quick
Yes
As a flutist I don't understand HOW YOU CAN DO THIS?!?!??! Us flutes have to use a ton of air. I thought we'd use more air than you, but I was wrong!!!
Edit: WHY DO I HAVE A LOT OF LIKES?!
Power of E
You don’t? -clarinet player
he's actually using double tongue, which requires less air but is much more difficult. clarinets actually do use less air than flutes though.
as a flutist, you are also aware of trilling, he used it a few times.
@@mq3v flutes actually use more air than clarinets and it’s especially hard bc more than half the air doesn’t even travel through the flute. non the less, this video was extremely impressive and sounded great!
as a wind player (and a choir student) the fact you went so long without breathing is unfathomable.
and as a chronically ill person, the fact you didn't pass out is amazing
The tongue and the fingers line up so perfectly!
No idea how I would do that myself on my Clarinet. Well done!
He does double tongue
When you get that "okay here's the hard part" look of concentration through the double-tonguing sections. Musicians know!
This guy has my respect. Playing a clarinet that fast isn't easy.
MASTER OF TOUNGING
Mans really be using Oxygen Breathing Final Form, Lungs from the Heavens
(Props to the guy, that was beyond impressive, I dont even think there is a word to describe it)
I’ve played clarinet for 6 years and I can’t tell you just how good this guy is playing every note crisp and firm and his posture and his tone the amount of notes he played is absolutely insane and I thought The piano was hard for this..... well done bro
I've been playing for around 20 years. That was still beyond my clarinet skills.
I've also been trying to play it on clarinet, but I can't seem to tongue that fast. Any tips?
Also wow, it sounds great.
Grow 3 more tongues
Play percussion
@@krispyfishnuts tf?
@@meamcomorod it’s fairly simple
Just tongue stop g as you slowly go faster
I think squidward has fired himself
Squidward:I’m done
I love how he was so chill then realized it was harder and got serious
1:21 as a woodwind player, that mouth movement to help with your sore cheeks is so relatable.
This is very real considering how long you have to maintain the embrochure
yES!!!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! You did this so well! So much went into this ahhhhhhhhh! I can't wait for this to blow up on youtube! the double tonging, the finger work just everything is so well done :D
I love how these videos the musician always starts out looking relaxed then getting progressively more stessed out
As a clarinet player, I can’t believe he did this . This takes so much time and skill.
" _he's a one man army!_ "
this is so good, how could anyone dislike this?
probably the saxophonists.
@@stephaniegarcia7954 bruh wtf did we do 😭
Exactly what I’m thinking. Stupid fake woodwinds.
@@wawah1603 yeah 🤣🤣🤣
Well if they don't like the music... I guess it's a valid option?
as a future clarinetist, I shall never forget this video, he is the final boss.
more like an end-game secret boss-
That us literally the fastest double tonguing I've ever seen. Sheesh!
I used to play the clarinet as a kid so I know enough to know how much skill is happening here and I'm torn between awe and absolute sheer terror at the power you possess.
How the hell are you not dying for air? -All us clarinetists
This is absolute insanity. As a clarinet player myself, I have no idea how anyone could play this. My respect and and fear for you is beyond anything I can comprehend. You're absolutely amazing. Fantastical job, man. The skill ceiling for my clarient that I aspire to has been reset to this.
0:42 that tonging is insane
2:05 sounds like an office telephone
That articulation is on point
I'm now tempted to play this
as a former clarinet player, this left me speechless
as a clarinetist from italy i can only say: WOW MAMMA MIA
