I imagine since the queen controls things psionically, or the other version of it. She can essentially control the entire ships systems, including the engines, the guns, the lights, heating, cooling etc. So stabbing her in the eye would interrupt the general signals by causing an insurmountable amount of pain. I mean, get stabbed in the eye and have the knife twisted around a few times and I imagine the pain alone would cause most to pass out or simply die from it alone. A real life cow has about 30 liters of blood, an elephant has over 200 LITERS of blood, and neither of those are genetically engineered sci-fi super-lizards the size of a 2-storey house, and it's not uncommon for giant sci fi bugs to have ways to control bleeding and not care about pain.

@@joshuastong5441 I was in high school when the original Starship Troopers was released. It aged badly. The live action resident evil movies are crap. These Japanese animated ones are more faithful to the source material. Therefore more entertaining.
