    just being found with Celiac at the age of 51. Feeling very tired , headache , depresion , some days are good and some very bad. How long did it get you to feel better? Thank you.

      Honestly, about 6 years. But most of the healing occurred in the sixth year when I finally figured out what to eat.

    hi when did all your symptoms go away after the gluten free diet ??

    • @NaturallyKarli

      My symptoms remained until about 6 years into my gluten-free diet. It was at that point when I also started using whole plant foods exclusively. I still get some skin irritations now and then, but nothing as severe as what I used to experience. Are you having trouble recovering from gluten intolerance?

    What was the name of the antibody test you got?

    • @NaturallyKarli
      @NaturallyKarli  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was the standard celiac panel. Tissue transglutaminase antibodies also gliadin. There are several but those are the major parameters

    I also live with gluten ingesting family members! My transglutimase was 75 at the time of my diagnosis. I'm still dealing with the dh rash (the rash from Hell). But I'm eating gf free! Thinking of seeing an allergist to see what foods I might be allergic to. I eat a lot of eggs. Something keeps causing the rash. Maybe my skincare products?
    Thank you for the videos😇

      Maybe you could try an elimination diet. My rash completely went away after focusing my diet around whole, unprocessed plant foods.

      @@NaturallyKarli Good idea! Start with just meat, veg and fruits and go from there! TY.

      Keep in mind that meat is heavily processed. But whole grains (GF of course), legumes, veggies, and fruit are great starters. Good luck!💜

      @@NaturallyKarli I was accidentally glutened the other day. Couldn't figure it out. Then I realized that TOOTHPASTE can have gluten!!! My Gosh! Its in everything.

      Truly, it's in EVERYTHING!!!! I was recently reacting to a brand of organic dried legumes that were packaged in a facility that also processed wheat: (
