The amount of variety in these stages compared to dirt rally 2.0 is to me mindblowing. Going over tiny bridges and into small towns look like so much fun, not to mention the big open areas where you can absolutely floor it. This gameplay made me want this game even more, Great Driving!

In my opinion the engine sounds were good until WRC8, they started to be crap from WRC9 and im quite disappointed they didn't improve it. Looking forward to what codemasters will do

Accelerating sounds a bit weird but apart from that, the sound quality of that game's pretty awesome. Can't get why so many people hated on that. Guess, that's a common problem there of complaining before the final version is even released. Can't wait to play that game 🤩
I think people have a right to complain particularly for this game. It looks like a rehash since wrc 7 and nobody likes spending money on rehash except dumb loyalists. Not much has changed even the graphics are outdated, physics is another story.
Not gonna lie, ever since the mediocre wrc 5 and disastrous 6 this franchise has been progressively improving on each iteration, ea must not have a monopolio on rally games, I'm so glad other devs are stepping up on quality, i just hope v rally has a true comeback as well.
sadly they will soon, as codemasters (dirt rally) bought the wrc license (due in 2023) and then ea bought codemasters... so ea will own all rally games (other than v rally, sebastian loeb, rbr, and any other older games i suppose). what i mean then is they will own all the good sim new rally games.

Codemasters is a bona fide triple A studio with more budget, more experience, and better in-house tech. It's only natural for the production of Dirt games to be better than KT Racing's WRC titles.
Dirt rally to WRC10 is like World of Tanks to War Thunder. One is clearly better and I know for a fact more people like WRC10, not mentioning the better graphics, surroundings and the option of stages, rallies, countries and cars. E for effort my man.
Nice review quite in dept. I currently use a controller with WRC-9 for now anyways. I am curious about the ai is more "alive" this time around, that is something I like when it comes to Dirt Rally 2.0. I also would like to see some really dynamic tracks maybe some animals running across the track. Good race, nice avoiding climbing that tree there lol may have lost a lot more than the front end. What tracks do you like best open and fast or tight and narrow corners? For myself, It has to be Japan (tarmac + highspeeds+controller is scary tho) and Argentina in Dirt Rally 2.0.

Woww Hyundai impressive sound for any rally car, really good driving skills and indeed the road is a bit tricky so you get off the track and crash a bit but that's okay and still with a very good ending and I love it like we saw the WRC show on television
Man, if only WRC would do VR support I would drop DR2 faster than my grades dropped. Still tho, WRC 10 is now the game you want if you wanna experience Rally as accurate as you want it to be. DR2 is still there if you want VR but I just like the feel of the cars in WRC better, or more like I can feel the car better in WRC.

Ive watched tons of Rally videos trying to learn Rallying-- by far you are the best Ive seen-- you continuously CAN avoid spinning by correcting the car(countersteering) because of so much speed... then position the car well for the next turn-- Ive seen your older videos from other games too-- which ledme to this 2 question 1. How long have you been driving on Wheels? 2. Have you played or collaborated with other great dtivers on TH-cam? Ex.. Slaptrain- etc.
The in car sounds are way more crisp and the tyre sounds in slides are on poi t and can vary in pitch and tone as the grip levels change especially on tarmac adding to the sense of realism for me

Driving the Hyundai i20 WRC in WRC 10 is way more satisfying than in EA SPORTS WRC.

i wouldnt drop dr2 but i would definitely start playing wrc if they added vr. but fair enough, its just not really worth it for them, i get it.
