Just getting into BJDs and your videos are so helpful. I want a popovy but there's not a ton of content from the sisters to help us make a truly educated decision without contacting them.
The Popovy dolls are exquisite. Since this helpful video was made, the prices have since gone up, even Body I is now priced at $1,500- All bodies, except for the Venus, are priced the same. The translucent "Phantom" Resin is $200 extra. The Venus body starts at $1,900 and if you want her in the "Phantom" resin it's going to cost $2100. This is before adding any extras.
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls I wish the sisters had kept the price of "Body I" more affordable since its the one that is less jointed and detailed compared to the others, which is what Pasha does with her Simply Beautiful dolls. At the same time, it's understandable that there is inflation and Covid affected the supply chain and logistics.
Wow four, that is amazing. I love the red lipped girls face and the dark one the most, but they’re all beautiful. Omg their hands! I wish they were a bit more meaty, for lack of a better word, but again; they’re a beautiful art piece.

Love the Popovy dolls! I'm thinking of an idea where I'd incorporate a doll horse but I don't have the Popovy doll or a horse! So I don't know what size horse would be suitable for their doll. I know there's a Breyers horse collection with really nice models but I'm wondering if their too small, those horses are about 10" inches tall. Would you have a suggestion on which horse would look best??

Hi Alison! I love your comparisons, however, I have seen a photo of two dolls elsewhere where they looked a different height and was wondering seeing as you have both, if there is a height difference between the IV body and the Venus 1?
I'm sorry to say I don't have the Venus anymore so I'm not a good source for comparison 😭 I know some of the heads can be slightly different heights so that may make some difference in how they appear. Sorry I'm not more help 😞

I'm not familiar with model horses at all so unfortunately I wouldn't be much help 😔
