The popovy dolls fit pretty good into vintage Barbie clothes. Especially dresses. For some reason they're really long waisted, probably to accommodate the pointy full boob, but the waists sometimes still look too long on them. The vintage Barbie clothes are really well made too! If you like that 50s/60s aesthetic for you Popovy, I would high recommend!
I own a regular size PashaPasha doll painted by Pasha. I find that her sculpts are really very similar to her look, tall, lanky but with some feminine roundness and the high cheekbones of high fashion models which she used to be. I love the fact that she has put a lot of herself in the doll. Her dolls are very singular. She uses 3D software to model them and sells shoes and accessories that are 3D printed and also a blank head you can use for wig making. A truly stunning doll.
great breakdown ...I had thought I liked the Popovy the best, from other people's photos but now that I see them together I like the Pasha more personally..it sounds like you will have a Popovy Sorority soon lol ..you represented them both very well

Hi Allison, I think both dolls are beautifully sculpted and yes, it would be very difficult for me to choose...however, I think I like the PashaPasha body and the Popovy face! I love those teeth and the roundness of her face sculpt. A great review, thanks for sharing. Big hugs xx
I got my my first and last Popovy some months ago. I was so wondered that she is just a bit bigger than a Barbie doll. Im in love with her face, actually her face is the most beautiest in my doll collection but this skinny body drive me crazy. I sew doll dresses but I hate to sew for Popovy doll. Want to own a PashaPasha long time ago because I love Pasha so much, love her style, but I never have luck with the preorders 😢 I forget the date, or if Im not forget then I dont have money… etc 😁
I have obsessed about doll ears, to the point of giving my My Friend Huggles doll real human earrings to wear, just because she's got fabric ears sticking out to each side of her head.
Allison, do you have any Freedom Teller doll? I'd love to see a comparison between Sybil or Vojta (I guess the latter goes by Shugo Fairy) and Beth. I do love the fact that Beth has some sort of double joint torso (I hope I told this right, I see a line under her breasts and another at the end of the torso and seems to give her much more mobility). Beth seems to have more mobility on her torso than Sybil and Vojta, both has one joint on torso. I'm a fan of putting a doll laying on the tummy and put the hands on chin for posing and for now only Mirai will do that after her vinyl bust arrives (she is cortex). Can you do this comparison, please?
I unfortunately don't have any of those dolls...I will definitely check them out though and if I add them to the collection I'll be glad to do a comparison 🥰

Popovy are my absolute favourites! Personally I find Pasha dolls really ugly facewise, I prefer the angelic looks by Popovy.
