You said you've been DNF-ing books...and that compelled me to DNF the book I was reading because I really wasn't feeling it. Thanks Tia!
WOOHOOOO!!!!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
seven year slip deserves every bit of hype, instant 5 star I still think about all the time
🤧🤧🤧🤧 EVERY. BIT. OF HYPE FR FR FR
I love how you described these books. Thanks so much! I put a hold on Before I Let Go 🥰
awww thank you!!!!! I hope you love it ♥️
A physical reading journal is so much fun!! If you work on one, will you be sharing your set-up with us? I really enjoy reading journal content. Happy reading!
I’d definitely include the physical reading journal in a vid :’) THANK YOUU happy reading!! ♥️
@@tiachu Yay! Awesome!!
That therapy representation in before I let go is top tier
justice for vashti as well girl got so caught up in all the bs and she was just being her amazing self
YEESSS
White Oleander is one of my favorite books. Great video!
i also had such a great reading month, found four five stars out of the nine books i read 😊
YAAAYYY!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
The book I finished yesterday was so good! I think I will only get to read 2 books a month which is fine haha. My March wrap up is Percy Jackson’s Greek Heroes and A Sweet Mess by Jayci Lee! Great reads
YAY!!!!
Piglet has been on my radar, so I was happy to see your thoughts! I think it will be a library pick-up for me. I also really appreciated how you pointed out which part of the blurb is accurate in The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store! I always feel so mislead by some blurbs. Also, your glasses are a paid actor. My favorite book this month was The Elementals by Michael McDowell! It's a Southern gothic horror that takes place in my state and I was OBSESSED with the atmosphere and the place and just everything about it! I had to take a special trip to the park with my friend to talk about it!
OOOOOOHHH THAT SOUNDS SO INTERESTING!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
omggg such a juicy wrap up! also yayy i was so glad to buddy read lot with you :)) so glad we could experience it together!
😚💖💖💖
I read Piglet! As a Brit, I would describe it as British too ☺Our cover is a lot better imo than the burger though, google the UK cover ☺
Im glad that as a Brit you also agree that makes me more confident in my take HAHAH 💖💖 the donuts do look gooooddd 😮💨 I wish they had a cover with like just an over the top decadent FEAST. Ugh that would’ve been so much more fitting imo for the book content
Tia -- What a treat: two of favorites (You & Just Martine) dropped today. Enjoyed your book takes.
My five star for March: The Girls We Sent Away by Meagan Church. It's a tough read. Pregnant teen sent away to prevent parental shame. The book is not for everyone.
Certainly hope you have a good safe week.
I LOVE MARTINE TOO!!! And thank you for sharing 💖💖 I hope u have a great safe week as well :-) thank you!!!
The best book I read this month was the audiobook of The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. I read the physical book at the same time. I rated both 5 stars
i read this in march as well! loved it, xiomara’s story is so important
@@camillereadss It is a great book. I think it is a good entry point for those pretty new to poetry such as me because the poems all tell xiomara's story. The book isn't a collection of unrelated poems like many poetry books.
@@stuartgriffin1001 i completely agree! i’m new to poetry as well but like you said, this was really easily approachable.
Great wrap up 📚☕
this was such a good wrap up !!!
Ooh you have such great reading taste❤ I adore your videos and personality (:
😭😭thank you so much UGHH how sweet!! 💖
@@tiachu it’s true (: I’m always happy to say it though 🫶
You seem to be on a memoir kick, and maybe that's what I need to break my reading slump. I've been reading so slowly this year, I only finished a couple books. The best one so far is the one I'm in the middle of- Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon. It's one of those books where I thought it would go one way, then about halfway through, I thought it might go another way, and now it's taking us on a ride in another direction. I have no idea where this main character will end up, and that's fine with me. That's the best I can describe anything without spoilers. Anyway, happy reading!
those are the best kinds of books omg!!!! keeping you on your toes - I hope you end up loving it, happy reading!!! :-)🫶🏼
@@tiachu I finished Sorrowland and yeah, there were more weird tangents. A couple of them were really weird. And it had an overall good ending. I'm not even sure what is or is not a spoiler at this point. It's a book that requires some trigger warnings so folks who look up TWs should do so before going into that one.
Aaa!! so glad I found your channel I feel like we have similar taste my favorite book in March was The hearts invisible furries by John Boyne I will never forget these chracters I absolutely loved everything about it another was out on a limb it really was just perfection to me as a romance!
IM GLAD YOURE HERE 🫶🏼😭😭😭 the Boyne book is super up my alley so i wanna get my reading recommendations from you too!!! LOL I’ve had that on my shelf for ages
@@tiachu 💗💗 awe yaya hope you enjoy when you get to it also the audiobook was great to with the Irish narrators!!
just found white oleander at my local library! excited to check it out
PLS CHECK TWs camille you’re younger than me 😭😭😭😭😭😭 IT WAS EXPLICIT N KINDA TOUGH TO MUSCLE THRU PERSONALLY!!! hugs!!!
@@tiachu i definitely will i promise!! ❤️ if i feel like it’s too much i’ll definitely dnf for sure
Thank you for validating DNF-ing books 🫶🏻
always n forever a DNFer‼️ 🫡🫡🫡🫶🏼
i wish i had a 5 star read this month 😭😭 10 books and they were all 4-4.5 crying
thats still a dang good month!!! :’))) but I know the feeling I HOPE IN APRIL U FIND MANY 5S
@@tiachu thank youuu :)
Girl, I would love to hear the quotes you annotated in the seven year slip 🤭💅
😭girl tbh I bet it’s a bunch of “OH MYYY” and “HES SO..” 💀 but MAYBE ILL GO THRU IT QUICKLY IN AN UPCOMING VLOG HEEH
@@tiachu PFTT, I think I'm in the same boat as you 🤭
i got an arc of piglet too and i felt the same way about it!! very meh overall. i actually prefer the US book cover over the UK edition (iirc it’s a stack of donuts so even less british lmao)
I’m glad we feel similarly!! LOL I’ve decided I don’t like either cover but the big mac looks so delicious I get hungry looking at it smh
I connected Annie Bot to other things like the study that found that men were abus¡ve towards AI partners, the episode of Sounds Like A Cult about AI, and the Bot Love Podcast. So I really liked it because I was looking beyond it (if that makes sense).
White Oleander is one of my favorite books! It’s so well written. I loved the movie too!
such a lovely video, as always! im honored to have introduced you to Kennedy Ryan lol
I just haven't been able to convince myself to DNF a book... but maybe one day...
I believe in you 💪🏼💪🏼
