When parents see that you are doing well with the small decisions, they leave you alone. I've made heavy decisions on my own, from the school I attended, course I took, state I served, job I started, relocating from the country and my parents have learnt to trust and follow me. Meanwhile, I have a sibling who my parents can never trust her sense of judgement because everytime they've let her, she has made terrible decisions that affected the family negatively. The same parents. Different children.

I've always felt if I have to tell him to tell me he loves me, ask if he misses me, why he never says I love you. Than its not sincere. He'd be only saying because I asked, not because it's something he truly feels, and because than it's not genuine, it hurts even more to me.
Hardly EVER, he will reply with I love you when I say itto him that I no longer say it because it hurts to not hear it back, or with little enthusiasm.
God restored our marriage 4years ago, hubs doesn't know this, he doesn't know I took it to God to fight for my marriage, and one day suddenly Gof brought him back, but not saved,born again,surrendered nor submissive to God. No. God had been training me to continue to interced for this man's salvation, this man, my husband. And it hurts, it truly hurts to not feel loved, well at least the way I'd receive love. It just to me it seems he is not a child I have to teach how to love me. I'd truly would love it came out of his own efforts and desires. 😩

No, there are many happy ones
@@jareya the two are not mutually exclusive. Happy marriages do not mean there is not work or there aren't seasons where you do things out of duty/as a "chore". Not realising that can raise alarms even in a healthy marriage where compromises have to be made.
@@raddiejeigh2146 I don’t think this was the intent of the question - if something looks like a chore overall, that word usually implies stress, burdens and tedium, not happiness. But you’re right of course - a happy marriage involves dutiful work and service even when you may not feel like it.
