I love underwater recovery and underwater freestyle, it helpes a lot to improve my feeling for the water. The one arm over and one arm underwater recovery is a great idea, I'll start doing that one aswell. Personally, my biggest challange is getting my body symmetrical. After working years on a seated position on a computer you can imagine how that affects swimming (and running etc...) So I invest a lot of time with dry land exercises to stabilize the body and balance the imperfections out. I believe this is the N°1 challange for most swimmers who began the sport in their adulthood, like me.
