      You're very welcome :) That's awesome! I've never tried growing parsley from seed before. Is it hard to do?

      @@thepanickedfoodie4198 We live in Illinois so we start the seeds inside around the 1st of May. Super easy.

    I did this, and it turned out well. I let mine drain on paper towels for a long time (2 days). It only took 15 min. in the oven to get dry enough to crumble and store.

      I live in a place where it is humid. I have tried that before with other herbs, and it didn't go well. This *ensures* that it is very dry and so it will keep in storage for some time.

      Fritz... Me too, but after I put them in the mason jar they started to turn brown. Is that natural or have I done something wrong? Thanks

    Dried parsley 🌿 is a rich source of apigenin, and I would like to know your opinion on whether heat can destroy or damage the apigenin.

      No idea. I'm sure Google has a lot to say on it though!

    Instead of parchment paper any reason one can't use a silicone mat or grilling mats?

    • @thepanickedfoodie4198
      @thepanickedfoodie4198  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never used a silicone or grilling mat, so can't comment.
      The purpose of the parchment paper is to keep them from burning. I would think a silicone mat would work, but keep a close on it the first time you try it.

    I still had 8 minutes left on the timer and mine were burnt.

      I would double check your oven temperature, make sure your oven rack isnt next to the heating elements.

      It is! Definitely something you can do if you have the outdoor space for it.
