Hey Devvon you know most DAWs you can have multiple projects open at the same time and switch back and forth to listen to each project. Think that would make listening to your reference track and going back to compare it to your project without the reference track being effected by the effects on your project would be made a little more simple. Great vids by the way. you've helped my sound so much brother.
Honestly just copy the settings into Logic guys, don't expect him to set up the entire session again. Just did it took me 30 mins tops. Devon thank you for this bro! many people are stingy with the craft, so very grateful for you! the only question i have is do you track with compression? if you do how much gain reduction do you go for and will using a preamp effect the sound with this template. i have an twin duo with a TLM 103

Got and love it... one thing you could have included is the settings for the plugins. Say i dont have one but have a different plug in that opperates the same. If I had the settings of the missing plug in and added it to my plug in.. Just a thought

Man!I just had to throw in my 2 cents about this tutorial.First of all it was incredible, so you can let down your guard.Now!Let me get straight to it.I just paid and downloaded the template.Guess what?I don't use Pro Tools!I use Studio One!And I love Studio One.Just with the tutorials alone my mixes are sounding incredible.There's one thing I like about Pro Tools that Studio One doesn't have?Or at least I haven't noticed it yet.And that is that all the faders in your tracks give you the ability to stereo all your channels.Meaning that you have 2 panning knobs instead of one like I have.If I pan any of my tracks either left or right, then that's all I get.Either straight up the middle.Either Left!Or either Right.You have the option in Pro Tools to get Left and Right in all your tracks.Which automatically gives you a wider mix if you prefer.In order for me to accomplish that task alone I will have to copy doubles of all my tracks in order to get 2 pan knobs in order to get the same result.That means that if I have 30 tracks by the time I am finished then I will end up with 60 tracks.But I need the template to be able to organize all of this.Not including all the XTRAS.Busses,FX, etc.If I lose the money because of my negligence then I am willing to accept that mistake.And if I just screenshot everything, then I still won't have the added benefits of what the templates offer.I mean the specifics and the levels and the necessary precautions you took when you put the template together.The reason why I purchased the template was because of the caption above this post.(A video on how to start your recording and mixing, in any DAW i.e Pro tools, Fl studio abelton etc.)I naturally figured that even though that Studio One wasn't mentioned, that it applied to me as well.My question is, does the template apply to Studio One as well?And if so,(How Do I Get The Unzipped Files You Sent To Integrate Into My Program?)I used WinRar.Is there some other specific program that you use and after that where do I put the unzipped files?In the templates folder in Studio One.Sorry for the rant, but I know someone out there will get stuck in this same predicament.And I feel it's helpful to the community.And I've checked!The Devvon Terrell Recording Template is still not showing up.

I bought it to spprt what ur doing. I use reaper though. It's the most intuitive to me. I tried to use pro tools for the template but PT is cumbersome. It's worth it for ur videos though

I have my audio interface plugged in and everything good to go but I don't know where to record my vocals and also hear the playback.

You should do a tutorial on how to find the key to any song, or explain any programs/shortcuts that you use to help find you it. keep up the videos brother, super helpful
