Jerry
Lewiston, Idaho
Mike from Outdoors with Morgan has also kept us aware...
Thanks for the update just glad he’s still with us
We didnt get much snow but sure had the wind and cold!🥶
The way Pete explained his right leg to me was...They fixed everything on top, and in 6 weeks would work on the bottom. You better keep the videos rolling cause he will need some to watch this winter and spring!🤠
Kevin: Looks like it needs to get a bit colder so the limbs can just pop!!! Reminds me a a summer cedar job I did a few months back. Truck drivers hated me, mostly mulch grade and only a 10 mile haul. Great work, can't wat to see more. Thanks for the update on nuts.
Logger Jason
Ya some colder Temps really help get the limbs off. Our post guy didn't really want summer cut cedar. Makes a mess of his debater. Also nice being close to haul.
Talked to him yesterday sunday sounded good but seemed tired , good to chat with him ! Thanks kev !
Ya pain medication may make him a bit dopy. I've just talked to him abit through messager and he comes across in good spirits
@@SkidderKev ya he seems at grips with the situation ,just don't What him to get depressed, be hard not to for anybody
Thanks for the update on Pete we will definitely keep him lifted up in prayer.
Thanks for the sitrep on Pete. He'll probably stun us all with speedy recovery- at least that's my hope for Pete. Can't wait to see Lauryn & Pete cruising timber again.
Thanks for the update

Kevin, thanks for the update on Pete! Although he has a long recovery, thankful he is still with us.
One of the guys i learned from, he had one come down on him and his brother found him. He didnt make it.
Noce Eatern Cedar coming out of the bush! Hopefully it will freeze and you guys get it out and move on to the next job! Will continue to pray for Lauryn and Pete and their family.
Your welcome and we are glad he's still with us too. Sorry to hear about your trainer.
Ya this cedar is turning out nice. Things seem to be freezing up now which is good
Thanks for the update on Pete! We’re keeping them in our prayers…
Your welcome and thank you
Long road ahead for Pete, stay safe out there! Send those poles my way I can’t get any here because of all the mud.
Ya he does but he's got this and has alot of people supporting him and pushing him to get healed and walking . We got lucky on this job being on good ground, we have got about 100 cord of posts out so far
We got 4” off snow them turn to rain 🌧. Bare ground here this morning 01-14-2024 blow last night to western coast in 709 😊.
Hi Kev!!😀😀
Thanks for giving us a update on on Pete. I'm really worried that he may never hand cut again. The injures he has will probably never stop hurting.
I have a lot of the same injuries over the years and I was only able to be a equipment operator and only able to hand cut for a couple hours at a time. I hope I'm wrong. I just hope he gets better. He is going to have a long recovery. When I got my leg crushed and my femur broke it was over a year just to walk good again.
I'm thinking about him every day.
Take care my friend!!😀😀
Logger Al.
He's got a long road a head of thats for sure. Hopefully he won't have pain or little after his recover. I didn't know you had a big accident either. How long ago was that?
@@SkidderKev It was a little over 20 years ago but it was a horse back riding accident. Not a logging accident. I almost died. Terrible concussion, 2 broken ribs front and back on one side, crushed leg, broken femur. My leg was crushed so badly they had to split my leg open from my hip to my knee to alow it to swell and not cut off my circulation.
I was in ICU for 4 days and then in a regular room for another 8.
So I kinda know what Pete is going through. Except he is hurt even worse than I was.
Thanks for the update on Pete. my prayers are with him.
Your welcome and Thank you
Knee surgeries aren't easy. Wishing him a great recovery. It's cold here now!
Ya its going to be tough having to stay off it and try to do pt to help with his back and stuff. Are you getting that big cold snap out there
Thanks, Kevin for the update keep us informed and keep up the good work
Your welcome and thank you. Hope all is well with you
You'll get a nice freeze this week. Thanks for the update on Nutsy - hopefully he is going to continue improving and soon enough be able to watch you.
Ya its going to freeze up nice this week. I'm sure he is watching already
Thanks for the update Kev🙏👍🏼🇺🇸
Your welcome Larry. Hope you have a great week
