Don't apologize for your stories. Love ❤ your stories. My birthday was last week and my 18-year-old daughter was on spring break and didn't make any plans with her friends so she could spend the day with me. So, of course, I took the day off. She doesn't really like playing board games despite being really good at them, but played for my sake. She, my wife, and I played Skulls of Sedlac x 4, Cascadia, and Trekking through History. It was her first time playing all of them. She won half the games we played including her first play of all three of them!! Great birthday treat!!🎉 I wish I had time to play even half as often as you do. 😢
Played Wingspan for the first time this month and loved it. I think it would be cool if you had like a discord server set up for people to play with other people in the After Evenfall community. Just a thought I had as I see quite a few comments with people saying they don't have many people to play with.
you're not talking too fast. I'm comfortably watching on 1.5x speed and english is not even my main language, haha. might indeed send an invite for Burgundy, but I need to check the rules first. should be an easy win then for you :D greetings from Austria!
I don't think you talk too fast in this one personally. As I'm not really all that interested in game stats in and of themselves it's good to see you so animated and enthusiastic and get into silly stories. But yeah, perhaps pinch those fingers less often, that has got to suck ;) Over Easter we played some Earth, Tesseract, Wyrmspan, and a bunch of Black Rose Wars: Rebirth. Also I managed to play my copy of Arborea for the first time. All those options and iconography (on top of the LSD trip style artwork) is threatening to melt you brain but a few rounds in it starts feeling pretty natural fortunately. Was also looking to play Unsettled but we couldn't make that happen sadly. Oh, and Uprising! We did manage to play Uprising and incorporate the more strongly asymmetric expansion factions this time around.
Ticket to Ride?? Are you feeling well?? As I recall, TTR was a game that you absolutley hated or am I mistaken? Lost Ruins of Arnak is an awesome game..........once you grasp it. Don't ignore the research track but it's not the "end all be all" to winning. Speaking of Clank! I received Clank! Catacombs today. Can't wait to get it to the table. I'll probably download the app in order to play it solo. Great video as always!
I think I played 2 games of Here to Slay the day it arrived and that's it.. Oh, and I've had one round in Gloomhaven: Buttons and Bugs 😬 I would love to be able to play more board games but I don't have many people to play with 😅
Loved this 🥰

That sounds like such a great birthday!
Talk too fast? You realize a lot of us also watch Alex from boardgameco too right lol
This feels like slow motion

I'd love to do that at some point, I'm just trying to get a little more familiar with Discord first. It's a little new to me. :)
New to us games in March
Planet Unknown, Kung Pao Chicken, In Vino Morte, Bird Watcher, Harry Potter Strike Dice Game.
I've never heard of Kung Pao Chicken, but now I'm super intrigued! In Vino Morte is high on my list of games I want to play as well!

So cool to hear you're from Austria! My sister lived there for a while and my family loves it there!

That sounds like a well-rounded gaming weekend! And I'm glad you didn't think I talked too fast!

Haha there is only one game I hate enough that I'd turn down playing it (Wizard. Every Time)! I have a hard time turning people down, I guess! ;)

I'd love to hear more about what you think of buttons and bugs! I'm super interested in it but haven't heard much about it thus far!
@@AfterEvenfall once I have time to get into it, I'll let you know what I think. So far, it's very similar to JoTL.
Boop!
I also did not know what I was doing in Arnak 😅
I think secretly nobody does, but we all hear 24/7 that it's awesome so we have to save face ;)
@@AfterEvenfall 🤣Love the game, bet would probably lose every time on BGA too.
No Lore? No Root?? 😮
Not this past month! And if I had someone to play Root with me, it would be on my list a lot more, trust me!
