- Dave's back! And this time he's got his work cut out for him in a rare Warships battle that's actually a close, hard-fought match. Right up until when it isn't.

Extra style points for the surviving friendly ships forming up alongside each other at the end of the match like triumphant heroes standing shoulder to shoulder at the end of a hard-fought battle.
😊👍😎
Well, one hero and one CV.
Like an 80s biceps handshake.
All hail Dave
Dave for President!
Dave for PM.
hip hip
The myth, The legend
I swear Jingles' legacy is going to be Dave becoming a verb. I was actually surprised Notser didn't become one
CV/DD formation at the close. warms my cold dead BB heart. teamwork.
As I live and breathe.... something nice said about carriers
Thank you
@@InservioLetum Inquisition is on it's way, don' worry.
I’ve seen a few games where one or two players have escorted the team’s carrier.. often results a strong win. Very effective late-game with smoke and the added AA.
Agreed. Nice formation there!
Of course if the CV was the Graf Zeppelin, it could have subbed in as a secondary spec battleship... lol
whoever said for Colorado to "run" doesn't understand Colorado, "crawl" maybe, maybe even "walk" but she ain't ever going to "run",
Well at full speed the hamsters are running!
More like a slow waddle. Cue the obligatory tuba jingle....
Love playing to Colorado being full speed the whole game and by the end getting pinged in the map by a rando DD telling me thx for being in the battle
Well with Viking crew at the oars it could crank up 1-2 more knots
I like how the two ships that had names implying that they're bad (soon_sunk and TheWorstPlayerEver) were actually 3rd and 4th on the team board, and both contributed nicely to the win.
On the NA server, a self-deprecating name usually is a good sign a player is emotionally mature and a team player, while a player name like "DeadlyOverlord666" is a red flag.
@@Vinemaple oh I agree 100 percent. I trust self deprecating names so much more than try hard names.
nice little fleet formation at the end(:
”Jolly good show, y’all”
- The british DD captained by a yank, probably
RNZN clan tag would suggest he's a Kiwi.
Dave
the man
the myth
the legend!
All hail Dave
ITYM "the Legion". After all, there are *so many* Daves.
And so, in the 3rd age of Wargaming, did the Gnomish Overlord stretch out his hand and commanded the playerbase to go forth and conquer in his name. And at the forefront of the Salt Miners advanced The Legion Of Dave, their numbers beyond counting, of diverse face and countenance but all of one name.....
@@firehawkdelta If us Dave's ever organized we'd likely take over hte owrld and turn it into a party
@@Daves_Not_Here_Man_76ALL HAIL THE DAVE'S! 🎉
Thank you Jingles for another great game vid to watch. Yesterday, we had a hurricane. It sucked. Fortunately, the roof stayed on my house, I didn't get flooded, and my power stayed on. Today was a much better day than yesterday. I even enjoyed going into work!!
Love the friendly game chat. Really love the formation sailing at the end! 😁
that formation at the end .. beautiful gj dave!
4:23: Paddlin' incoming!
That was a very nicely played match. The ending was very smartly played, no red mist of battle and going after the CV.
Actually jingles 120mm makes them 4.7 inch!
Great OOW drills at the end Dave, great station keeping
And a photo finish with the DD escorting the Carrier in the final moments of the match 💯
That was a joy to watch... nothing too terribly fancy, just a smart, well played game. Well done, Dave!
GG! I love the formation at the end! 😊 Dave is never gonna die! 😂
I don't know about this being the best day, but it certainly is trending that way as soon as I clicked on this video. "A friendly voice to start your day" as the song goes. I hope you have a great day Mr. Jingles. Much love Sir Overlord
what a beautiful ending! the destroyer joining up with the aircraft carrier to continue their journey ❤❤❤
Fab formation at the end there.
I love how the first two kills for Dave’s team were scored by “World’s worst player” and “soon sunk”. 😂
EDIT: and they ended up being in the top 5 and quite useful to the team by the end as well. Coincidence? I think NOT!
At least they're honest.
@@henryherold4515 An honest "WorldsWorstPlayer" would have died even before the enemy shoots him
For some reason, a lot of players with self-mocking names in WoWs turn out to be great players and friendly ones, while players with names meant to be scary or bragging usually turn out to be incompetent, infallible, and entitled.
@@Vinemaple Indeed, when I see a self-deprecating name on the field I start praying they're not in my flank
Cossack in a carrier game, with it's man in crows nest with a .32 revolver as AA, it's pointless to turn off the aa because you get spotted before they're in range of the guys pistol.
A destroyer escorting a carrier (at the end). What new WoWS madness is this?
What a thoroughly enjoyable battle this was.
Jingles, I wish the NA server was as nice as you said it is
Always happy to learn new terminology with you Jingles.
Sitting here in Houston, Texas for a 3rd day of no power after a hurricane hit in 100 degrees Fahrenheit heat and near 100% humidity, but we got our internet back today at least on our generator, and leave it to a new Jingles video to make the experience at least a little bit more bearable.
Dave is showing his skills once more. Not only is he able to drive tanks of every style like a professionel, no he also commands ships pretty much simultaneosly 😂
Pretty sure the Cossall had 4.7 inch guns
The Tribal class did have 4.7 inc guns
Jingles at his finest.
I LOVE a 'DAVE' replay!!! Please Jingles, send more 'DAVE' replays to the 'salt mines'...us 'salt miners' don't deserve them, but we want them!!!!!!
Dave for galactic overlord. ruler of all salt mines XD
No, no, no, there is only one ruler of the Salt Mines and that is and will always be Jingles,
New Jingles video and I'm still on the sunny side of dirt? He'll yes it's a great day.
🎶"The hero of Warships, the man they call Dave"🎶
With all the thank yous and polite chat, Dave in the Cossack and WorstPlayerEver in the Colorado are probably Canadians. Too bad they weren’t in a Haida and a Yukon.
Early morning jingles on chooseday
Always like a good Dave video.
Once in a 3v3 ranked sprint game (years ago), I took my Akizuki off alone to capture a distant objective, and the enemy carrier completely ignored me, while the rest of the ships were fighting in the middle of the map. I felt a little bad for denying them my spotting, but there was no enemy DD, and snagging that cap uncontested at the beginning seemed like a worthwhile thing to do.
The enemy carrier then continued to ignore me as I motored into point blank range and sunk him while he was hiding behind an island. I don't remember anything that happened after that...
Came for Dave, stayed for Jingles
You CAME for Dave?? 😩
The one, the only, the legendary....Dave!!! Welcome back Dave!! 😅
I won’t lie jingles, I read the title and had to watch immediately 😂
Still find it hard to believe that WG wanted to replace one of the 4.7" turrets with the RL refitted AA mount. Sneaky gunboat, love my Cossack.
Great video, thanks!
Jingles... purveyor of yet another quality piece :)
Dave, the man, the legend returns!
Happy Tuesday Jingles, kitties and Salt Miners.
Dave's a sneaky bugger, ain't he? He pointed the guns where they needed to be pointed, he fired the torpedoes when they needed to be fired and took care of business like pro.
Dave's a stud.
Treats and scritches please.
🐈🐈⬛👑✌️🖖
nice vid, loved the escort formation at the end. well done!
Great battle and always awesome to leave genuine naval technical terms. Just need to work PF into everyday life now! 🙂
Hooray for Dave.
Any day with a Jingles vid is better than a day without one. 00:11
Dave, doing the job, again!
The formation at the end of the match was cool.
Knock knock its me dave let me in. Dave's not here man !!!
Great to watch, cheers .
Tuesdays are just well disguised mondays.
But at least we have Jingles putting up a video for us.
Best day possible... The day is always better when able to enjoy your voice and chuckle about the absurdities of the human condition. 👍
I love watching Dave play!
That's a beautiful ending
All hail the mighty Dave.
Hail Dave, for we are Legion!
Right and proper buggered, Jingles. haha
Asassio's detection is, if I recall correctly, 5.4km, which makes Cossack's 5.5km still incredibly good for a DD, let alone a gunboat DD. It is one of the reasons the Cossack is consistently considered one of the best, if not the best, Tier VIII DDs.
I ran into Asuka_rage in a game today, lol. He was surprised to hear that he was in a jingles vid. NA servers are a small world!
A Very Entertaining Battle!!!
nicely played.
“Proper fucked” is an approved phrase for all branches of the military.
At ~ 14:30 the old man forgot that the scores were swapped due to the bug again... adorable XD
Dave is the type of guy who has bacon as a side with his bacon.
1 day after Beryl does a drive-by: "I hope you're having the best day possible!" Ya know what? All things considered, I am! Thank you for your well-wishes, and I reciprocate that sentiment!
4.5 in comes to 114 mm in metric.
120mm is 4.7 In.
What, no conversion to cubits or furlongs?
@@InservioLetum English not being my native language, had to google those, if we want to go at that, might as well start counting as Spans.
Cubit is the same as the old Imperial russian Arsin which is 711.2 mm which in gun calibre would be 0,17 Arsins when rounded up to 2 digits, or 6,25 power of 10 to -4 furlongs, if my conversions are correct..
I did understood the joke, but im too deep in the tism spectrum to ignore an occasional ocd..
And if we want to make this even more complicated, a line is 1/10 of an inch, so the bore would be 1200 lines,if using the gunmakers Decimal-line units, which differs from older definitions.
@@apyllyon Holy shit. Are we related? I absolutely LOVED this! My colleague is giving me a look as if my hair is on fire, so clearly I cackled a little too freely. Thanks for the laugh :D
@@InservioLetum You´re welcome.Not that i know of.
Today is the only day I can make any decisions in. By definition it's the best day possible.
18:28 "... it's going to only need 1," on screen: 2 torp hits.
12:17 "he should go undetected unless the sub is running submarine surveillance..."
Actually jingles, thats not how this works. Submarine surveillance doesn't detect surface ships.
We are all Dave.
Dam Dave has been busy
I love the Cossack - it's a lot of fun, when you're not being focussed by sky rats; because the AA is laughable.
Oh, and it's an absolute beast in Ranked battles.
As a player who plays BB's mainly, I recently went with British Battlecruiser line for the meme (?). Full secondary spec. But they have good AA and DFAA consumable. It helps a bit with second and further strikes, but rarely if ever helps against first strike carrier delivers. Also those skip bombs are a menace. It feels like you can't miss with them provided you use them remotely in the vicinity of enemy ship (I'm not that far CV line to have them, I just want T6, so maybe I can get some achievements that require CV).
Only thing that helps against carriers is bad carrier player or if you have like 5 strong AA ships close together. And of course being detected is already a gigantic problem.
PROPER F'ED is right LMFAO, great video sir.
Nearly 3000 BXP and with no achievements. Very well played "Dave".
That Dave gets around doesn't he?
Dave will have to wait till I’m off work for me to bask in his glory.
There's a couple tier V, Fubuki, Minekaze and such that have 5.4 km detection, if I recall.
Cossack's AA is 2 chaps on deck firing Webley revolvers. playing WoWS 5 years now; only paid cash for 2 ships- Okhotnik and Cossack-b. Both are a Boatload of fun.
The Kagero, "Am I a joke to you Jingles?"
I believe it should be spoken as Hoary!
Nice DD play.
U69 checks Technical Manual ... Yes Sir that is correct, We will be that Sir !!!! lol ....
Aussies say "thanks" as well. ;)
Look at DAVE go !
Dave's the best!
Thanks for helping cure my insomnia by posting a new video. Now I got to watch it before I go to sleep. It’s currently 0030.
Jingles, we need a Yamato replay.
great game!
Dave is the man,
Ahh Jingles, sub surveillance doesn't detected surface ships...
its about Time Dave showed back up!!! LMAO!!
The sneakiest sneaky sneaker.... 🤷♂😂
I did really enjoy this one as while there weren't any extremely impressive or dumb plays by any one player, everyone did reasonably well, tried their hardest and fought to the end on both sides. That and the friendliness between the green team in chat. Can you really tell its the NA server because they were thanking each other in the chat?
Good morning salt miners!
I'd like to point out that while the Cossack only gets four torpedoes per salvo, they have an absurdly quick reload (I think at about 55 seconds?) and 2 km extra range over the torpedoes that the Lightning gets at the same tier. Contrast this with a ship like Kidd, which also has half the normal torpedo load, but the exact same reload as the Benson gets for twice the torpedoes, and the same stats otherwise.
Good morning Gnome Overlord. All the best
Keeping it real in the intro lol
