Just started a channel and have been watching a bunch of vids about this topic. This vid seems the most real. Would rather learn TH-cam tips from a real creator than some a marketing person. Thanks for the info, dude
I've listened to all the BS from other flashy TH-camrs telling you how they can get this and that. But you are for REAL. Thank you for your authenticity and candor. I wish you much success.
I had to subscribe because this is soooo relatable! I have been on TH-cam since 2012, still not monetised have 400 plus videos not met the watch time requirements. I am at a point if i see 30 views I am happy!
Great video! I really loved your tips about stopping long intros and outros. It's so true that people just want to get to the good stuff quickly. Also, starting with a hook really grabs attention right away; I never thought about how important that is! Your point about showing transformations was super inspiring too. It makes so much sense-people love a good before-and-after story! Thanks for sharing your journey and these lessons; they really made me think about how I create my own videos. Keep it up!
I guess i've been lucky on youtube. I started my channel just about two months ago and i'm almost hitting 500 subs and already clocked 4000 hours. And yet here i am feeling bad its not moving fast enough.
This is exactly where I am. I'm at 117 subs and I often feel like quitting. I've been consistent since April 2024 so almost three months and my channel has def grown. I often feel discouraged when it comes to my content. Thank you very much for these tips!
Very interesting perspective. I appreciate the journey that you have been on for the last ten years. I am impressed with the commitment. Keep striving!
I find your manner very helpful. Keeping it laid back and simple like this helps me think clearly and see how I may benefit from this advice. Thank you. Subbed!
Im glad that I have watched this. I am a very unmotivated individual. I have a want to make educational content but get discouraged easily. I have grown to a little over 1k subscribers without bothering to edit my videos even. I feel I have something important to bring to the platform but I'm too lazy to package it in a way that people will appreciate. I am going to try again after watching this, thank you for making this video.
You definitely need to go for it. The biggest and easiest thing you can do is come up with a topic and just make a video with a list on that one particular thing. It’s easy and very educational
Your channel is great G, I been also doing it for 6 years but I been improving more than ever now! It's always a good vibe when you upload keep it up King

I needed this Inspiration and Information! I'm giving All of my extra time to run (3) TH-cam channels with (3) Boys, a Wife, and Only (1) year experience and it's like I take (1) Step FORWARD and (2) steps BACK!
Great video thanks for sharing. Growing a following seems so daunting but, I really resonated with just trying to add value for people. Adding value was really one of the main reasons I started on youtube.
So much to consider. I was thinking of doing interviews but realizing that maybe a separate channel for interviews makes sense. Never would have occurred to me! But reminds me of a real estate agent who told me if you’re building condos then all the 2-bedrooms (for instance ) should match each other in ammenaties and such otherwise one unit can drive down the prices of the other ones.
The more I watch these kind of videos and look at these talented creators channels the more I realise how difficult it is to get reach on this platform.
Great video! And you explained it well how to capture peoples attention with popping up pictures and text on a long ramble of talking. Works great, thanks for posting.
Great video. YT is hard. Everyone wants to do it. Few make a successful living at it. That’s because it requires so much work. You are doing a great job here and I have no doubt your journey will take you very far here. Nice job! 👍
"Fix one thing in every video" is the best way I've heard this advice. I usually overcomplicate it, but this is way more simple! 😅 Most people say something similar, like "improve 1%" or "get better at one thing every video," but the way you explain it actually gives a clear way to find where to improve! 😁
This was super helpful and very relatable. I’ve been failing for 7 years and I’m finally figuring it out and growing. These ideas are really solid and I’ve been implementing most of them. Thumbnails is my main focus of improvement at the moment.
You gon’get there bro. I’ve noticed that TH-cam has been suggesting more smaller channels lately. Hopefully they’ll start back including my content.. the fall-off is real.. stay vigilant💪🏽
Seeing my videos get zero views has been tough, but I’m not ready to throw in the towel. I know that with perseverance, things will improve. To anyone else feeling the same way, remember that every journey has its ups and downs. Stay strong, keep creating, and don’t give up. We’re all in this together!
This resonated with me so well. I have also been doing videos for 10 years and never seen much happen. The biggest mistake people make with youtube is not sticking to a niche. You can expand later on for sure. But to grow, people want more of the same. If you are a minecraft youtuber and all of a sudden you stop and only post call of duty videos you will lose 95% of your audience. Stick to something, and expand down the line. Great video btw, one of the most unique improvement videos I've seen!
We all learn through trial and error. The real ballers succeed through dedication and persistence. Thanks for sharing the content. Now that I’m getting close to monetization, I can see the light at the end.
thanks for sharing my man. I clicked on your title because I have the exact same: also did and do youtube for AAAAAAAGES, but so far, little result. O btw, this is my failed youtube channel, all over the place, hahahahhaa. well, step by step we learn. good luck and enjoy the process my man!
I am working through this right now. I think we expect results too fast as well. I am trying to fight the feeling that people either want to watch people really up (rich, flashy lifestyle) or the complete opposite. The middle ground seems boring. But, I have to realize that it takes time to improve quality and also to get used to camera time (especially considering I’m an introvert). So, I’ve settled on just posting right now, being consistent. It’s a work in progress.
We are definitely expecting fast results but i feel like a lot of creators including myself aren’t tweaking things as we go. So I’ve been changing on thing along the way and it’s been working
