You decide who wins....2019 Camry XSE 4-cylinder or 2019 Camry XSE V6. Do you need 301hp or is 206hp enough for you? A couple other notes: mpg on 4-cyl is 28/39/32 combined. mpg on V6 is 22/32/26 combined.

I have a 2019 Camry SE. As a daily driver, the 203 HP is more than adequate. It's really hard to justify the V6 when most of the time, I'm in 40-50 mph stop and go traffic. Freeway traffic moves anywhere from 65-80 mph, depending on speed limit. When I do long road trips, I keep the car on cruise control at no more than 5 mph above the posted speed limit. Anything more will attract the attention of the Highway Patrol. The last speeding ticket I got was back in 2016 while I was still driving my 2006 Hyundai Sonata 3.3L V6. That extra torque and power just tempts me to push the car and punch it from a standstill. With the low-HP 4-banger, it's easier to drive like a normal person. If I do go for a V6, might as well move up to a Lexus which is in my future someday.

Just bought the 2020 Camry v6 optioned out. Did the research for quite awhile before deciding, weight to HP moved me towards the v6. Less wear with the v6 over the I-4 with that much curb weight. minor down sides were 1. no seat position memory for driver, (not available), 2. no USB or 12v ports for the rear seats, (not available) 3. you can't use the camera's while driving, (not available) particularly the side view camera's, pretty large blind spots. Even though the mirrors do have blind spot detectors, it's an uneasy feeling not knowing where the other vehicle is and what their doing until their right up on you. Very solid, really quiet on the interior, nice sound system. Lane assist scared the sh*t out of me when it pulled itself back into the travel lane the first time or two, but is really cool to watch and scare your friends a bit. All in all, a good buy and highly recommend.

Side note: I've been anti-Camry my entire life, simply because they've always seemed so cookie cutter boring over the years....All that has now changed and I'll be test driving the XSE V6 tomorrow. I don't care how good a car looks, if it doesn't perform just as well as it looks or better, I'm not interested. Great video as usual. Jeff! Thanks again. We chose the 4 cylinder for the greatly increased gas mileage. No doubt the V6 would be fun but the I4 fits better for us 90% of the time. Love the Wind Chill Pearl! We compared an XSE in that color to the Super White SE that we eventually bought. I think the white or Pearl works extremely well with the black accents of the new Camry as your video proves! That Cockpit Red interior in the XSE is amazing but black worked better for us. We would have gotten black even if we got the XSE. Ash gray is just too drab.

We are lucky Toyota still offers a V6 in the Camry. Honda doesn't in the Accord and other mid-size cars don't either. Instead they slap a turbo on their I4 or offer a weak 4. Accord seems to edge out the Camry in auto reviews but I don't know what they're smoking. Plus Honda has major recall and lawsuit problems with oil dilution/contamination in their I4 turbo engines. @@djmrtdfw Well the XSE costs about $4000 more but you get a lot for that upgrade. Off the top of my head but pretty complete because I went through this decision not long ago - sportier 19" wheels, all LED head and tail lights, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, dynamic backup camera lines, extra safety in collision avoidance, dual climate control, push button drive modes, electric parking brake, better Entunes version, 7" digital instrument cluster display (instead of 4"), power passenger seat, the cockpit red interior is added to the black and gray as a choice. Dual exhaust with quad chrome tips. Extra cost colors not available in the SE and you can get a panoramic moon roof and V6. Toyota Jeff has a video comparing all the Camry trim levels.

I just test drive both the 4 cylinder and V6 XSE models yesterday. Same color same everything. The 6 cylinder was by far the best of the two. Yes it uses a bit more gas but the power and smoothness of the engine while driving is so much better than the 4 cylinder. The 4 cylinder was loud and felt a bit under powered for this car. Maybe good if your just looking for that better gas mileage but if you want a smooth quiet ride then V6 is the way to go.

I’ve Camry SE 2019 and I think for 2 weal drive u don’t need more than 206 hp because the car I have slips its tires when I press the gas paddle hard ( my friends got surprised😲 ) so I don’t think having more hp on FWD can run u faster while tires are slipping. Conclusively, I would recommend AWD if u are going to buy a v6 Camry.

If you are the one likes to show off what you got from full stop to whatever speed you might be disappointed a lil, small gap of delay on trans ,, test drive it, specially yours is a v6 too. Good overview. Questions: what is the comparison of 0 - 60 times? Do they have a timing belt? I wish they would rate the interior ambient sound levels at speed because a noisy car ruins that fancy stereo sound.

I have the 4cylinder in this exact car white chill 2 tone with the red interior but mine is the 2018. And i have every option that the v6 has. Did i just get lucky or did they take off the extras off the 2019 so they can put them on the v6 xse

Sad that the GCC ver. doesn’t come like the American Ver., No ront radar or the phone charger or even the panorama
