I'll bet dollars to donuts that if the Mustangs were running rings around the Camaros at Bathurst, the Camaros would've gotten an aero advantage. V-8 supercars hates Ford.

Massive well done to Cam, great drive and great win. If only the racing was like this all year, the championship standings would be completely different. I reckon every driver should be given the championship trophy this year, and all the pit positions for next year get drawn out of a hat. I still drink coke, but this year has left a bitter taste in my mouth..

Camaro had clear advantage still. Not how side draft works. Watch Nascar superspeedway. Side draft can actually slow passing car bc the wake pushes into the frontal area. Side draft should have actually helped the Mustang here, but the Chevy just took off.
That is in fact how side draft works in Supercars, side draft is way more powerful than nose to tail in these cars and Gen2 as well. Davey even started coming back towards Shane near the end of the straight before he had to brake.
@@plebtile3347 Must only be at 180mph+ or something. Watched Dale Jr say this multiple times.
Why Was SVG So Much Faster At The End
He is a master at preserving his tyres so he has something left.
