I would like the Vision Pro to run MacOS (or similar) before purchasing. I could only see $3,500 as a fair price if that means I can completely ditch my Studio and MacBook. I remember spending $3k on my MacBook Pro 15in back in 2015/16. $3,500 isn't as ridiculous as it seems if it has the right functionality.
One thing I don't understand why tech reviewers lying about the Vision Pro that is not a good product at this moment I own one and I have seen no issues with anything about it.
I've been debating getting the current one or waiting for the next one. I really like the idea of recording home videos of my 2 year old son in 3d and being able to revisit them.
I really like how you would keep everyone updated about Apple products a long with giving details about all of the Apple products, and some of your experiences with them because it really helps me decide if I should buy or not or it is really worth it. This really shows that the quality of the products matters more and not that it is a bigger number. :)

If you looks at the Vision Pro from a technological point I think it’s an amazing bit of kit but based on reviews it is lacking something that makes It useful something that makes you need it . I think this would be amazing for engineers and architects if you could use it with a software like sketch up and be able to visualise and “walk around” in your projects now that would be an amazing experience. There are tons of uses for VR headsets it just needs a bit more work needs more apps.

The biggest drawback to the Vision Pro is for people like me who wears glasses. Apple says that you have to buy some extra special, and very expensive, lenses from Zeiss that fit inside the Vision Pro to compensate for that. The problem is that people's eyeglass prescriptions usually change over time, so what's a person to do, buy a new set of expensive Zeiss lenses every time your prescription changes? Given the large fraction of the population that wears glasses, it's not surprising that the Vision Pro has not sold very well. Why couldn't Apple put something adjustable binoculars inside the Vision Pro instead?
I hope to get a new mixed reality headset. Whether it be Vision Pro (somehow), or whether it be Samsung's XR, as long as it can be used like a spatial tablet, I'll take it!
On saving up for the MacBook Pro M4 Pro chip with the 2 TB model. I’m probably not gonna buy it just yet because I don’t see a reason to switch from Intel to Apple Silicon I think that I think the only reason I might just switch is because of Apple Intelligence, but still Apple Intelligence it’s not that great either I used it on my M1 iPad
Imagine the only problem to one of the most advanced electronics ever released within the last year is the price. A qualitative factor that outweighs the rest of the quantitative factors (that are full of quality).
They probably haven’t aligned business goals on Gen 2 yet. They would probably scale down the first design and add Apple intelligence and try to remove costs . A true lower cost gen 2 would be at least 2 years away.

Well I personally as student in Immersive Technology and focusing on developing games and software for XR I do work on many headsets like Quests, HTC Vive, HoloLens ..etc. generally in market the prices are some how close to each other and possible to buy and test our games. But once I come across apple vision pro 2, the price 1999$ still high even if I afford to order it will be financially big pressure.. So I guess no way

I dont see a huge need for the average consumer at 3,000 and while 2,000 would be much more reasonable for the consumer without a direct cause or need for it, I think it would def be smart to make a "air" version of it cheaper because at the right price you can market one for professionals and one for the everyday user that loves the idea of trying out new tech but wouldn't find themselves using it every day.
Also, I am waiting on the new futuristic Apple phone that opens and closes. The rest of the Samsungs and the other Android phones. I'm just wondering when is Apple going to release it And is this going to be something that's gonna be the new rage of tech to have

Well @MattTalkTech I got the Apple Vision Pro. As I have it’s over priced, actually think it is pricey but worth it. I find the tech mind blowing. I find it somewhat relaxing. I like the ability to unplug from the world around me. There is a lot still to unpack but I find it great. I want to learn how to mirror to my other apple products. If you have ever been the Sphere it is like that on your eyes

I think the Vision Pro has potential but only if Apple can get developers on board and get the price down, below $1k would be optimal, otherwise companies have done it but lately Apple has gotten lazy as far as tech, software, upgrades, and hardware releases yet they still expect people to buy at their outrageous pricing structures
Apple is forced to lower the price because the Vision Pro failed, production stopped much earlier than expected, they will try again by lowering the manufacturing costs as much as possible and making it as affordable as possible.
Honestly, quest 4 headset will still be the better overall product. It’s sad because I don’t like meta, but apple HASNT GIVEN ANY INCENTIVE to prefer their product. No games, no unique features. And while theirs is this better quality product, it’s ultimately useless and pales in comparison to the vast utility and potential of the Quest series. Just the fact that Vision Pro isn’t compatible with SteamVR is major deal breaker

Without a dramatic cut in price and a much more unobtrusive form factor, this is a product that will be short-lived.
