I do haunt + charge from felguard + fear + dots, if he uses trinket or the fear breaks i use death coil.
I used to play your build in phase 2 but i hate forsakens, if i face an undead rogue i'm dead.
To be fair you aren't really discovering the Drakedog build, you're actually just discovering the Wrath of the Lich King version of destruction warlocks. I had lots of fun in battlegrounds doing the exact same combination of spells as you are back in 2009. One big advantage you have with the newer Classic client is that it seems you're able to use conflagrate immediately after casting immolate. Back in my day there was about a 0.5 second server delay before conflagrate would become usable. I think I used to fill that time with a shadowfury stun which I believe was only 0.5 seconds global cooldown also, but I can't remember now for sure. Then cast an incinerate and conflagrate and shadowburn. Only on soft, low health targets would it be worth it to wait the 0.5 seconds to just do conflagrate. Anyway in the end I became more annoyed at being a glass cannon that would be destroyed anytime a melee would attack me, unless my two minute cooldown death coil was available.

instead of Improved Corruption you can think of Suppression. Fear and Death Coil will never be resisted.

Until Wrath there is always a 1% chance a spell will be resisted. No matter how much hit you have, no matter what talents, you can't get rid of that last 1%.

No you will get banned if you macro this. It's literally 3 buttons don't be lazy
sure its fiiiine! what isnt fine if a hunter pet does a little dot that kills you after 30 secs
If you have decent gears, you can also use Felguard for this build. The 3 secs charging stun and 3 secs death coil is enough for you to deliver the 3 abilities combo (the backdraft rune can reduce chaos bolt to 1.9s).
In SoD, the pace of PvP battle is a lot faster. I found the Felguard's insta casting stun even better than seduce. (If the enemy appears at melee range, you should use death coil first, leaving a distance for the Felguard to charge)
The whole reason this build works is because of the seduction. Fel guard is basically useless.

I played a version of this in P2, you could seduce and then put a lake of fire on top without breaking the seduce. very fun! once something gets on you though, it's over. Maybe now in P3 death coil can save it.
yep 100% if they close on me it can be hard to recover but death coil is a life saver

SL Is very strong warlock are clunky class is hard to master warlock to be real danger in pvp...Mastering warlock is long and painful proces ...
destro could do that in vanilla but today everyone can remove seduction with insignia. you have no pushback protection on any of your spells and in bgs you have pets/meeles on you, cant cast anything. your pet gets cleaved/interrupted from anyone. for duels and maybe 1vs2 its good. in a premade with heals it can be good too. maybe you can make destro with demon form work and use soulfire instead of chaosbolt as opener. with demon form you have good armour and you are able to cast instant searing pain to finish them.
immolation aura will mess up your seduction if any char stands next to you, especially rogue coming from stealth.
people go soullink because its the only way to survive a rogue opener, you can seduce him but with insignia he removes it and as undead he removes it 2x. i love to see destro gameplay and i will try to make it work in bgs too, my lock just hit 50 and i tried SL only, its a bit boring and has too low range/damage in bgs. im thinking about nightfall/ruin with +20% range on destro and affliction spells. spread corruption and wait for procs. but anything without soullink or demon form will die too fast i guess.

yeah i have always used incenerate but i am thinking the 30% crit on the opener like this is pretty dang juicy in bgs i like raw dps of incenerate but the burst on this is very nice

So you break cheapshot with trinket so you don’t die in the stun lock and deathcoil and they just trinket and use any one of their 20 CDs and you’re a sitting duck
@@Watskeburt Not much can stop a good rogue in 1 on 1 at the moment. This is definitively not the most tanky or the best one on one warlock build, but as he said in the video many times "high risk, high rewards"
@@Bubajumbathe succubus uses seduction from stealth? How would you ever lose to a rogue? If they don't trinket seduction the rouge dies instantly and if they do they just get coiled feared and die anyway
Not instant delete on the tackiest of classes. My sham with 3.5 k hp tanks this combo. After 4 or 5 duels I started to beat this warlock build every fight with tremor and grounding totem.
A good build tho nonetheless. But yeah 3k hp plus can tank.
And yes this is my open world hp. Inside bgs I'm 4.5k hp
he was hitting over 3.6k hp tho
@@moviesynopsis001 no the initial burst was around 3k . Many classes have some sort of insta heal or mitigation too like riptide and damage reduction buttons, into bezerking for troll heal is great not to mention potions. Regardless I have dueled this exact spec a dozen times not sure why your simping. I said it was a great build just correcting that it doesn't auto delete the tankiest of classes especially when in bgs

Think its impossible to handle 1v2 with this build .. even 1v1 without opener seem pretty rough.
It's not easy but if u seduce player 2 and death coil into a fear player 1 then u can get it to work. If they trinket then you're cooked tho
@@jamesthewizard so it depends on ppl having trinket. Its nice spec for bullying, which can be fun, but whenever someone has opener on you, i dont think u can survive.
@@KostelnikuvSyn yeah, seeing this build on my undead rogue is like chirstmas morning. no meta. no sl. if i have will and/or trinket you are 100% dead regardless of your cds.
@@KostelnikuvSyn can also run demonhunter the counterspell can guarantee this combo to on some classes plus have devour to purge or dispell. i do love comboing into seduce but can't on undead and hard to due into shams and trinks.

This isn't exactly new, I played this in regular Classic, but instead of Chaos Bolt you used Soul Fire.

Bro, don't say it works everytime when literally nobody you fought in the video used pvp trinket. Or will of the forsaken. or any class with a pet to spell lock or pushback. Its like yeah, every build can kill afk players, I'm not saying its a bad build but at least show some clips where people are at the keyboards and using their abilities like normal people.
Dude it was just the first people I found and you can find plenty 'fair combat' videos on my channel. Statistically I'm over a 50% crit chance and as long as 2/3 spells crit I'll win which happens most of the time but I apologize for my use of absolute language
this spell combo has been in the game in past expansions many times. super disappointing.

Hey dude I'm just trying to encourage people to play a spec that I don't see anyone in SoD play. People all go soul link build and those who play destro don't do it with the runes I run. I don't claim to have invented the build just like a teacher doesn't claim to have invented math I'm just sharing something that I felt people should try more. I don't understand why you feel the need to leave a mean comment on a small channel just trying to make a helpful video?

Old tactic
This build is really rng and gimmicky and lacks depth. Like its fun so show clips of 3 crits in a row but what happens when they dont. Even in 1v1 I think SL with UA beats this build. Hell duel a warlock 1v1 and with fel hunter silence did builds dead.
