Neil is an old friend of mine. Neil is my uncle. Neil is that voice I heard at the radio with tears in my eyes, when I was an adolescent and in my little room in Southern Italy I listened for the first time "Cortez, What a killer..." Neil has a luxury mini apartment in my heart, rent paid for life, connected via nerves to my ears. When I will die, Neil will be still alive. And this is a good thing for those who come.
By blood or not, Neil Young has written the soundtrack to my life.
Remember Crazy Horse 1st time I saw them at the Fillmore East in NYC in my vary eary teens .

Neil Young tried twice to play in Austin, Tx in 2024. I had tickets but it just didn’t work out, rain 1st time, not sure the reasoning behind the 2nd cancellation, maybe he just didn’t want to come.
Would have loved to see him live though.

They are as old as the, um, rocks... They move to the rhythm of glaciers, and sand collecting in sleepy meandering rivers, criss-crossing a pre-historic prairie. They are playing for long dead buffalo, and wolves, and forests that fell to the saw before your grandfather was born. And in memory of their ancient human brothers. That's how old they are. If you are lucky, you will maybe understand one day. Maybe. Don't just fall asleep, Ben. Dream.
