Brilliant to see a Genius like Neil who loves music and gives it absolutely 100% on stage every night. Never see his likes again. Long live the King Neil Young
Ok, the first time I saw Mr. Young was in 1970 during the Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere tour. Since then I have seen him with or without Crazy Horse 15 times. I cannot get enough of this young man.
I got to see Neil and Crazy Horse when I was 15, in 1982..such an amazing live experience. The greatest memories are the hardest ones to create. My buddy and I hitch hiked 290 kilometres to the show and had to sleep in the bushes on the side of the road on the way home after the concert. We eventually made it home the following afternoon..with a memory that is unable to be forgotten. Best concert I ever attended!
I was 15 in 1985 when I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse live in Melbourne Australia at Festival Hall. It was the first rock concert I ever went to. I was almost deaf for a week afterwards!. Yaay Nei Young !! I have seen every Australian concert tour he has done since then .
There's absolutely no words to describe this man's superb talents. I'm just greatful I can still enjoy his music. I am 63 &I have been listening to his music for a looong time🙏🙏🙏👊👍👏👏👏
He's a prolific songwriter. Stills once joked that the CSNY guys took a break to write tunes individually. They brought back what they had. CSN each wrote 5-10 songs and Neil had 100 +. Dude generates material
I wish I had a million upvotes to give. This is the best version I have heard of one of the best songs by one of the best musicians in the world. I had an amazing time when he played here in Bergen five years ago.
The man's a legend, and good to see him representing the brothers and sisters with that shirt. Absolutely positively one of the greatest singer/songwriters of our era...enjoy it! Love it!! Live it!!!
Just look at him grinding out the tunes, a man of his age, playing these scores of music with such passion! It is so moving enriching our lives with his God given talents and sharing this with all of us. Priceless...................
No denial from God, we have not taken advantage of our personnel gifts given us as much as Neil...Young "is passionate and talented, and he practices." He had to struggle when young, read his history, family trouble, physical mental. Neil Young has taken life by the short hairs and squeaked out every drop...
As all the fans have testified Neil is so fzzzzking YES< I said KING, he can start our journey with one note, his bent body gyrating all over the stage, he makes us FEEL, his awesome sound coming out of his body is why we love, we crave, we need his testimony for our record of being human, Takes me out with one note, carries me forever will I run thanks Neil, I mean it.

My mate only knew Neil Young because of Rockin' In The Free World, but he was blown away by the set. It was a particularly great one that night, including a semi-impromptu Old Man, and A Day In The Life where Paul McCartney joined on stage. But there's something ethereal about this edition. Oh my! Didn't get to see Neil n those boys. But, I saw the Grateful Dead 14 times before Jerry got promoted. Anyway, I'm rambling on. Go, "Crazy Horse Uncle"!... And Crazy Horse themselves, each and every one of them, going back too! I think the only jam that comes before this one is Chicago and/or Steve Windwood's and Spencer Davis Group's, "I'm A Man"! Well, can't leave out Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven"! Or some of Clapton's jams, eh? "I suppose... Eddy, are you kiddin'?!---Frank Zappa!! Rock and Roll will NEVER die!!!!!

Always been a fan of Neil Young, Canadian eh! To be honest, this is the first time I’ve payed attention to his live performance. He moves like a zombie, plays guitar like a madman possessed, his soul is relentless with energy, hardcore raw electric genius....Rock, jazz, blues, every chord and riff, fucking deadly!! All I got....homie Neil understands brewing, his performance pure moon shine...just say’n.
This man has had the courage to ask to be free, so he could make his own, fantastic music. He's given us his unique, beautiful, untouched, rawness. And I so appreciate this.
I don’t know what I could say. I follow him since 1970 when I was still a young boy. In 73 I visited his concert in Cologne. He is getting better and better. His music is part of my live. I really love it. Thank you Neil !
In three to five seconds you know exactly who you are listening to. Not many artists can make that claim. All of his guitar riffs are a style all their own. Incredible and unmistakable .
Neil Young November 12, 1945, Scorpio born in Toronto Canada. Grew up in a little"town in North Ontario" called Omemee, 64 years old here and rocking. The members of his band are not kids either, Baby Boomers. Neil is a genius. Love you Neil. You make us proud as Canadians.
Rick Rosas, one of those Bass Players that defines what Bass Guitar is supposed to be. Thundering and all encompassing without overbearing, just gets right down in your body and makes you move, the foundation and balls of music along with the drums man just a couple of madmen down in the basement mixing up the medicine.😎
I had the privilege of seeing Neil Young in Pittsburgh around 1987 at the Civic Arena , which is a parking lot now. It was unbelievable. I was a young kid watching one of my heroes live. I’d love to see him again. Keep on rocking, Neil.
THANGEW for this!!!! Never knew of it. Neil's one of the few cats that can play a one-note solo and pull a few tears from the eye..... like Lindsay Buckingham, Nils Lofgren, Carlos Santana :) JEEZIZ ya can't sit still with this version..... incredible dynamics. Glad I'm not driving to this :)
@@stevy3iron62 funny you mention this. I just recently got Roy Buchanan's CD that contains this song. It is quite good, but I still think Neil's original is a little bit better.

My profile pic - That's me in front of the very same stage as they set up. Posted a few raw videos of my own - trfcpepe. We went to New York in 2007 as we felt Neil would not tour the UK again following his 2005 brain aneurysm. How wrong we were! His UK tour was announced as I sat looking at reviews in our hotel since then we have seen every tour in the UK. An absolute legend! Long May He Run.
Neil Young is a legend and still going strong with music that is still relevant... look at his performance of "Who is going to Save the Earth" on the Jimmy Fallon show
I saw Neil Young in concert once in STL MO. But we were in the audience right in front of the Stage Left speakers so that is ALL WE HEARD, But VERY LOUDLY! :-)
I'm only 35 years old. Such a shame that this guy does'nt tour anymore in Europe. I hope he still rocks in 2021 because that's the year i'm gonna visit my family in Seatle.
I don't really care what anyone thinks, they are going to listen to this at my funeral, so I can jam 1 last time.
Not a bad choice! Or even Cowgirl in the sand.
It's not Neil but I want What a wonderful world by Willie. Brokedown Palace by the Dead and Closing time by semiotics cuz that would be funny as balls

We went to New York in 2007 as we felt Neil would not tour the UK again following his 2005 brain aneurysm. How wrong we were! His UK tour was announced as I sat looking at reviews in our hotel since then we have seen every tour in the UK. An absolute legend! Long May He Run.
Dead man's back.... !!! Superb performance, thanks so much for sharing!
Great song THANKS
😮I had to go take a shower after watching this!!!GOT DAMN!!!!!
This solo is like complete chaos and only one man can reach out and bring it to heel . The great Neil Young . Just wow .
Neil Young is a legend and still going strong with music that is still relevant... look at his performance of "Who is going to Save the Earth" on the Jimmy Fallon show
After seven years since this comment, have another listen mate, love from down under!
Absolutely Awesome version, best one I've heard !!!
Always I love Neil Young's music.
I saw Neil Young in concert once in STL MO. But we were in the audience right in front of the Stage Left speakers so that is ALL WE HEARD, But VERY LOUDLY! :-)
Right on Neil! ... My memories of the 70's. ... :-)
an outstanding performance, top
Voices still clear as a bell!
Just like me to. Imitate. Almost anybody just a little bit especially Mr Bob Segar. Night moves. Godbless76 was me. Thirteen
When you talk about the all time great rockers, Neil has to be in the conversation. Give the man a six string and he will play it,
He'll play no matter how many strings, but your 👉 right on 👨 man
Azznbad les Paul
If he’s not in the greatest rockers conversation you don’t know what you’re talking about as far as Rock&Roll is concerned
@@richardmathew9465 cya yep 👍
He IS the greatest rocker.
End of conversation.
I'm only 35 years old. Such a shame that this guy does'nt tour anymore in Europe. I hope he still rocks in 2021 because that's the year i'm gonna visit my family in Seatle.
Neil's channeling some Carlos Santana during the "mellower" moments. Imagine the two of them riffing back and forth on this song. Ecstasy!
One of the best people in music today. Saw his , 27 birthday concert in Miami Florida
Sublime!! Phenomenal Neil...He's legend!!
Enorme leyenda pura y dura, desde los años 60 Fabuloso
