I'm very sick. This made my day. Thanks from Holland.
I humbly thank you for your comment. I sincerely hope you get well soon, my friend 🙏 ❤
Sending you healing energy... get well soon...
Wish you all the best!
Same great singing voice! He sounds just as he did at 21.
Hope you get well soon brother, keep the faith!
I grew up in the 1970s on this music and will be taking my teenage son this month to see Neil with Crazy Horse. Perhaps one of the best nights of my life is coming with my son.
My dad took me to see Ramsey Lewis. Shit
I can say that I will never forget seeing Crazy Horse with my mom. It was quite special seeing the tears in her eyes as it brought back memories for her. They put on a great show, y'all are in for a treat.
I’m taking my Daughter to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse this coming Sunday. I haven’t seen him since the early eighties. A night out with my Daughter and lots of fun and new lifelong memories.
James Taylor is next.
@@BetterqQoLI’m taking my 20 year old son this Sunday too! Last and only time I saw Neil was in Holmdel NJ in 1988 while on his Freedom tour.
Tyler Childers is next for us.
Neil is 78 years old and still rocking in the free world. I never get tired of listening to him. 🙏
In a free world? Dream on...
Has it really been 50yrs that I've listening to Neil???
After the Gold Rush was my first piece of vinyl. 1970.
yep
No it hasn't. It's been 12.69825 years
Think maybe 52 for me...Harvest tour on a Wednesday night in Indy. I remember it like yesterday!
Yeah, me too... BUT I stopped after he did that shit with Joe Rogan and took his stand with Joni M....... and I don't play or sing the songs any more either..... fuck that, he's a selfish dangerous compromised fraud....
Cortez is such a gem. The guitar sounds....wow !
Yes. Cortez is a killer!
Thanks Neil for heading out with your band to give us what we need as we are aging making us feel young again. They sound great
totally! am 65 young
Just go for a walk instead!...As a 77yo "hippie", I endorse what Mick Jagger said, 50 years ago!--"If I am still prancing around the stage at age 40, somebody please shoot me!"...He knew even then, that ROCK is a younger man's game, only relevant to youthful rebellion. These geezers need to stop pretending they are offering anything important to newer "fans". Half of their original fan base is dead, anyway!
Agree I am 68 & loved NY since 1970 💙
ps Seeing NY & CH in Camden, NJ soon. Am I in for a phenomenal night.
Had a chance to work at the neil young ranch in California in 71. he's such a great musician
Set list from heaven. Bless you Neil and Crazy Horse!
I'm a big powderfinger fan!
Opened with Cortez, my favorite 👍🏻
He played it, but I flaked and didn't hit record 😒 @rayboston8737
It's impressive how good he sings, like his voice hasn't hardly changed since he was a young man. Unlike some other performers like Elton John and Mick Jagger. They are all great performers, Neil just sounds really good. Rock and Roll will never die!
To be fair, Jagger is 173 years old.
The best . Brings me back to the best times of my life . Thanks to you and the band .
Oh man, seeing Crazy Horse play outside under the stars has got to be perfection. Thanks for the video. So cool to see them still going strong.
I can't disagree...but unless you see them play acoustic in the middle of nowhere, there wouldn't be much to look at in terms of stars due to light pollution unfortunately. Sorry to buzz kill your fantasy.
Thank you Neil for 55 years of great music !
Neil young, 78 years old, and still playing gigs. He's an amazing guy.
And Ralph and Billy are 80. Amazing 👏
I attended this show and it was outstanding. Thx for capturing this memory.

Wow…f’n great.
Sounds like jamming so no lip synching or backing tracks. Thank God!
@@mikel92009 Back at ya for the great job and for sharing.
Great set list! Wow! Hope it’s the same in NJ or similar! ❤
What a gift! Thank you so much for sharing this! ❤ Definitely better to burn out than to fade away, she says at 69 f'ing years old. How the hell it happened I don't know, but so blessed to have grown up with this guy's music!
This 68 yr old agrees with you. I think we grew up with the best music. Also so fortunate to still be able to see them in concert after all these years. ☮️
I was there . Great time, could not have been better opening with Cortez .
Love that song! Hope they play it at the NJ show.
I'm jealous, it looked like a perfect venue and evening, plus what a set list!
Oh My, Hey Hey. Only since about 1972 listening to Neil, no matter what hes doing its always Neil.
This made me cry. So cool he still gets out and just rails wide open.
I'll be seeing Neil & Crazy Horse on May 12th. Thanks for posting!🥰
Awesome, many CD''s from Neil Young in my over 500 CD's collection Thanks! Greetings from Haarlem The Netherlands Erik (64)
Thank you so much for sharing. It means a lot to those of us that cannot be there.
Love it, loose as ever but now with walkers! Love you uncle Neil, keep on rockin' in what's left of the free world.
Bach- Mozart- Neil Young 🎼 🎹 ❤ timeless music that has neither beginning nor ending ✨️🌈🎸🎸🎸🥁
Neil still sounds amazing, and that's a blessing for which we should all be thankful.
Thank you for sharing this. Man, I tried listening with my eyes closed and Neil's voice sounded as if it changed that much since the Rust Never Sleeps concert back in the day. And look at stage setup, it's the same minus the roadies in cloaks. And so is Crazy Horse sounds great.
Yeah, I was waiting for the Jawas to make an appearance, but it didn't happen 🤣
Awesome, so good to see Neil and Crazy Horse still rocking! And thanks for panning around as that brings back many memories of concerts I went to at that amphitheater over the years. A fantastic place to see concerts.
Sons of Champlin, The Tubes, Copperhead, Merry Clayton (early '70's). SDSU had some magic back then. Peterson Gym (Frank Zappa, Joan Baez, Furry Lewis, Cannonball Adderly, Shelley Manne). The Auditorium (Dr John, Stoneground, Johnny Otis). Mary McCaslin, Los Alacranes Mojados. Magical time and place. Aztec Bpwl (Grateful Dead).
@@erasmusomnius REM, also great there.
Thanks for the share, taking my youngest son to the last show at the Hollywood Bowl. Nice capture btw.
Never been a fan of Neil Young and crazy horse but i sure enjoyed this and can appreciate the heck out of this and can tell that they are all pretty much still on the form i know of them.
Not many that age could perform like this that is for sure.
Just look at some of the ageing " pop stars " that are still trying to dance and look sexy in their 60's and act the way they did when young, where this type of stuff is timeless really.
This is wonderful, thanks for posting!! This takes me back to another classic performance by NY&CH on the evening of October 25th 2012 @ The Tuscaloosa Ampitheater.☮♥ & NY and CH 🎶
when you stop you die.rust never sleeps one of my go to albums.they never got rusty.
He is on the Human Highway, for Years and Years! May the Force be with him!
thanks for sharing this Mike, its so good for the soul to see and hear Uncle Neil back on The Horse again
So much thanks for sharing this 💚 Hope Uncle Neil will come to Europe once more... unless, I enjoy your post with much love ❤🤘A Neil fan from Belgium 🤩😉

Thank you - I remember the old NYCH shows, they were the best!
This is an incredible performance. The band sounds amazing. What a setlist.
Please Neil & Crazy Horse, come to europe too (after a good rest, yr impressive american/Ca. tour). Thousands fans here, well you know! Pete , fan 55 years
My very first visit in the United States (1993)...I went to the Neil Young show at the SF "Fox Warfield". I loved the show!
Cool video!
Timeless, and haunting.... thanks Neil...ride on
Grazie ,sei immortale,mito,ciao Brescia Italia
🎉Stonehenge Music festival appreciates the return of this group of musicians. Our motto was always ",Live music is best!
Nice - thanks for the vid - hope they don't take it down - one of the reasons I play guitar - was easy to learn Neils creations - his voice sounds the same as 40yrs ago (almost)
That is real music made by real musicians 💯
Wow, very nice Cortez to start! Thanks for panning around the venue, I saw shows in the late 80s there so it brings back quite a few memories!
Ho la tua eta e ti ascolto da 60 anni mi hai accompagnato nei miei momenti migliori grazie
Lets think about livin! Thank you for uploading!
You're welcome!
What a fkng show! Big props to the sound engineers. Was about 10 rows back stage left. Been to all kinds of different genres of live music. From classic rock to blues, funk, oldies n reggae. Seen Neil 9 times and I’ve never heard anything of this quality ever!
So flipping excited to see him again in Atlanta, under the stars, in a week and a half! Thank you so much for posting this! ❤✌️
I was at Liverpool Empire when he played with Crazy Horse. I Won two tickets from Radio Merseyside for naming his backing band! 🐎Again in 1982 Neil Young and Transband in Quimper France. Driving on a road trip in a Beetle we saw a poster so drove to see the concert.
neil young voice hasn't change
Damn right old man... Keith Richards can't keep up with you anymore...I am always glad that you are still doing your thing, and still alive ...David Gilmour is even releasing a new album soon. You few originators of modern rock and roll keep shining brighter than one could have imagined...
great to see Neil Young Crazy Horse!! Thanks!!
Love the stagecraft! Two story fender amps backdrops rock!
Check out the 1978 tour that's when these things started, loudest tour ever.
part of Rust never Sleeps
thank you so much! ✌ from Belgium
Man does this take me back. Just seeing those stage props of the extra BIG Fender Amps from the Rust Never Sleeps Tour brings tears to my eyes. The only thing missing are The Road Eyes. You had to be there to appreciate it. Thank you for posting this gem.
I was hoping he'd have the roadies dressed up as Jawas, but oh well, it was still great seeing the oversized gear
Just bought my ticket to see them in July! Thanks for sharing! Freaking psyched!!!!
Thanks for Capturing this!!
You bet!
Gotta love Neil!🤙♥️
Thank you to whoever posted this.
timeless Neil young timeless Crazy Horse Timeless music
Seeing this beautiful madness in NY in May!
Nice job Mikel. Thanks for the post ❤
Awesome, seeing Neil and crazy horse in Austin on May 1st.
Crazy Horse, started in 69, I was 11! Haha, Was 10 years later before I discovered CSN&Y. Then solo Neil. etc... Would love to play rhythm or bass with Neil at 78 years old. He comes up and says, "Let's start with 15 minutes of Cortez the Killer" , I say, " Love it man". Micah Nelson is an amazingly versatile guitarist talent for sure. So glad he joined for this. Peace and Love Y'all
It’s wonderful to hear these guys still going steady.
Wow! Four days ago! Amazing Neil! I dig the stage amps, Bro! Rock On!
Wow! They start out with the best song ever!❤❤❤
💯% 👏 👍🏻
Wow what a fantastic 70s set
Heading to see him on this tour next month. Cannot WAIT!!!!!
5.17 Mansfield Massachusetts... my brother Neal got us tickets once again.... uncle Neal always delivers. .. seen neil horse 🐎 a bunch of times.... gunna be a fungus night.... we don't fck around 😂😂😂😂....
U are lucky .l hope they come back in France👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍🇫🇷
Thanks for sharing this concert!! They all sound great! Saw them a few times over the years!!
Rock On! 76 yo and still love Neil Young!
You make my heart happy! I lost my love and you bring him back to me!! Thank you so much!!
Seeing this wonderful concert in NJ. ❤
Me too! I can’t wait. I am 68 & have loved NY since I was 16. Thrilled to go.
Wow GOLD your amazing uploading this thank you so much😍🤠😎💯❤💪🤟👏
Damn good for a 78yr old guy who’s suffered a stroke. Thanks for posting; the video & audio are amazingly perfect. I thought the playback speed was a bit off so checked my device & it’s “normal” so apparently they’re playing just a bit slower than they used to… but that’s nothing.
Yeah, in the past, some songs might have been a bit faster. You know Neil, he changes thing's around from time to time, I think it depends on his mood
Thanks very much for postin this, great job capturin the show😌!
Glad you liked! I wish I would've recorded more, but it is what is
Vaya regalo. Una grabación de hace tan solo 5 dias. Gracias.
Great show at my favorite venue. Been going to see concerts there since the 70’s and this was one of the best.
Sons of Champlin, The Tubes, Copperhead, Merry Clayton (early '70's). SDSU had some magic back then. Peterson Gym (Frank Zappa, Joan Baez, Furry Lewis, Cannonball Adderly, Shelley Manne). The Auditorium (Dr John, Stoneground, Johnny Otis). Mary McCaslin, Los Alacranes Mojados. Magical time and place. Aztec Bpwl (Grateful Dead).
Remember seeing JERRY GARCIA in the 90's here. Kids turned SDSU. sign into LSD. HUGE OVERHEAD it was brilliant......
Yes Jerry shows in San Diego were magical 🧙🙏👍💰. I remember a show in Balboa park 1994 it was another gem 💎 for sure 👍
Nice one from Stockholm
Cortez the killer magistral !
27 days until Crazy Horse hits pine knob. So excited to see them again. Thanks for the great times Neil.
Just got my tickets today!
26 days now! I see them in Austin on 1 May
Already have my tickets to see him in September at the Hollywood Bowl.
This really hit me. Thanks for posting.
Thank you!!
They sound SO GREAT 🙏🏼
R.I.P. Danny 🌹
Don't forget Frank Sampedro! He took Danny's place long enough to also deserve credit.
@@jonathandaniel7552 Yes, so true!
Danny was one of a kind. Just like Neil.
ooooh YES ....SO IT IS ....Thank You....
They sound fantastic
Simply wonderful
Makes me an even prouder Canadian. Part of our life-soundtrack
Thanks for posting this. I couldn't be there, but now I can watch and hear it. 😊
@Mikel92009,
In Seventies-rock-era- speak, What a " killer" opener! (I note while kicking myself for missing the show.) Alas, people like you rock. Many thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! (from Europe)
the horse still rides......the slow fires burn.....sound sound creeps lava like.....the sun flares....the moments drip.....the aching resonates.....it's all the same song......and the feeling you get when you sliink back into the amps and the feedback runs right through you....sustaining...drone .....the quiver....the shake
To bee seen next weekend at the 2024 New Orleans Jazz Festival. It will be the highlight of the year.
THANKS for posting! Neil’s still got IT - he & Crazy Horse sound great. Going to the Dallas Tx concert tonight & this is an awesome preview.
I can’t wait to see him in. NY may 15 th, is going to be a magic night with the best - uncle Neil
Generally I am not a fan of a mobile recording but today I make an exception :) Uncle Neil was not touring for a long time due to pandemic and post pandemic era and it is really nice to see him performing on the stage. Lucky you guys on other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Hopefully Neil and Crazy Horse decide to visit Europe the next year.
As much as I've loved all his incarnations over the last six decades, for my money Neil as the Godfather of Grunge playing with Crazy Horse is the greatest of the great. I would love to listen to (and watch) a professionally produced version of this concert
Just awesome even at his age. His live rust album got to be his prime
Thanks for sharing from Germany
È un musicista sempre uguale a se stesso. Fuori dalle mode e dai travestimenti. Un cappello sulla testa e una chitarra. Lo stimo e adoro il suo modo di suonare.
i love this. thank you for sharing!
