I got incredibly lucky! I found a Glimakra floor loom on sale, used, locally. I didn't think I would be able to afford one in the near future. But then surprise. It was about a third of a new one. I took a risk and it paid off. The lovely is in excellent condition. I tried using this method to dress it from memory instead of rewatching your video first. Mirical of miricals I got it mostly correct. I went through about 4 extra steps moving the cross but I got to the same point. This time I think I'll watch your threading and slaying video first.

Fantastic! Welcome to the world of Swedish looms - I am so happy there is a drawloom in your future. I hope you will keep me posted!

I like the idea of rough slaying rather than using a rattle. I'm going to try that on me next warp.

Raddles work great! But I admit, my persnickety nature likes each thread to be just so 😉. Also, I like only having to worry about one cross when I am winding. It's nice to have choices - try and see which you prefer.

Since I seem to find creative ways to mess up warping and beaming my loom, I'm going to bookmark this very clear explanation of the steps involved! Amy is a natural teacher, and she has a gift for combining enthusiasm and encouragement! I can't wait for the rest of the series!

That's great - it's true, beaming a warp BTF is pretty much the same process whether you have a single-harness loom or a drawloom. I'm so happy the vid is helpful in your own practice.
