We fished lake trout on Keuka and Senaca for years,I remember seeing one guy jigging ..EVER. I had no idea it could be so productive.I would love to see this technique used to catch a 25 lb king salmon at the mouth of the Genesee or Salmon river. Great video as always..👍

Finally, somebody in America is doing a video about these kind of jigs. I see a lot of these kind of jigs being used a lot in SouthEast Asia. On the America side, it is all about bucktail lol.

Of all your great videos, I love the Finger Lakes ones most. All these big, beautiful, healthy salmonids in such abundance is a joy to watch. Heading back to Champlain again this summer for some of this action again. Those stocky 30" fish are certainly 10 lbers. Great job, Elias!

Elias, here is the flounder fishing season for 2021:
The recreational flounder season will open Sept. 1 and close Sept. 14 in internal and ocean waters of North Carolina. The minimum size limit will remain at 15 inches total length, and the creel limit will remain at four fish per person per day during the open recreational season. Per NC DMF.

30 inch laker? I'd say closer to 7/8lbs. I caught a 28 and a 28.5 inch and both were around 6-6.5lbs. But I could be way off too. I just uploaded a video of jigging up the 28.5 incher

Definitely enjoy the freshwater change of pace, always cool to see u do something different and still kill it. On your way back down south you should hit the salt and see if u could jig up a limit of fluke to bring down south with ya to do a catch and cook since the flounder season down there is all wacky, keep up the great work man
