I attended a salt-making workshop at AMAMI TERRACE. ✨ I was able to create salt, which Ako was well-known for, and I discovered how important salt is in other food cultures. 😄👏✨ You boil saltwater to form crystals and coarse salt while having fun with the other attendees. 塩作りは、濃縮工程と蒸発工程の２工程があります。
通常海水中の塩の成分は、２、３‰なのでそのまま蒸発工程にすると、エネルギー（熱）がたくさん必要です。
濃縮方法としては、昔は流下式、入浜式であったが、現在はイオン交換膜式であります。
