First, we went to "Ishinohoden". This name comes from the fact that the rock appears to be floating in the air. To solve the enigma, we went to the Ukiisshi Museum and researched the stone, which weighs 500 tons and appears to have been floating since 1400 years ago. We looked into the mystery stone, which is considered God's body.
⛏️The secret behind Tatsuyama Stone and Tatsuyama stone workshop
Next, we visited the Tatsuyama stone quarry in Takasago City to learn more about the stone. Tatsuyama stone is rather soft and easily processed. It was used for Emperor Nintoku's mausoleum and is presently used in building and landscaping. It is a historical stone that was also utilized to build the stone walls of Himeji Castle. In the Tatsuyama stone workshop, we chose our favorite stone and transformed it into a keychain.
