I choose my nioh weapon, stance and entire build exclusively from the coolness factor of the main moves used. Tornado is one of sexiest moves in the entire game, across all weapons.
I've come to the conclusion Piercing Rain is just way better than Tornado for general play when you're not utilizing Ki regen stuff. The damage is probably as good anyway, but Tornado''s issue is that the main attack is two inputs, and the initial slam costs way too much, meaning that if you don't have like 60% + ki, iyou can't use it. Whereas Piercing rain, so long as you have enough ki for the initial quick attack, you're good.
Piercing Rain is 2nd best imo. I have played with it first but the move itself puts you in bad spots against bosses. As soon as i have switched to tornado i had more sucess. For this build exactly anyway. If i was to substitute tornado for something else, it would be piercing rain.
@@Kaienowaty if by any chance you havent started yet then i would like to point out that spear, despite being cool weapon is not only one you can use. im pretty sure you can find something that fits you even better mechanics-wise

Can you reset skill trees. I have been playing the game normally without a specific build. I’m almost done with the game and wanted to make this spear build but would it be worth it still?
Any tips on how to use the tornado skill without barrier talisman? Because the ki is depleted before being able to swing, so i just slam my spear in the ground and no swing without buffs, and you cant run from shrine to shrine with buffs active constantly

Wasnt sure if there was enough new stuff to warrant a buy, and with Doom eternal and Resident evil 3 remake coming out soon, I can really only afford to buy one of them
Once we unlock -1 req accessory, mixing red demon with kigetsu will be very very powerful. 3 pcs kigetsu (weapon, chest and waist) and 4 pcs red demon (weapon, helm, gloves and boots) cant wait to get all the pcs

2 things: 1: equip armor and/or accessories with "luck". 2. equip armor and/or accessories with "item drop rate %". Grind the boss.till it drops the smithing text.
u know i like your builds but no matter where i go that spirit (tengen) is in almost every build. not yours but other youtubers also use saying what u say. this is my only problem with nioh right now, unless u are using tengen damage is just low.. every build needs it.. or to me thats how it feels and even with dlc's that will come i dont see another spirit ever beating it

Where do you get adamantine and battle focus. You should have mentioned axe is a neccessary evil as a secondary.

Crafted armor pieces have minimum stat requirements to wear. Armor obtained as loot has higher stat requirements.

Everyone is using magic. Kinda depressing that i have to rely on that to beat certain bosses.
You dont need it for any of them.
It just makes it easier.
Ive yet to use magic on my playthrough other than element talismans.
Magic is essential for increasing survivability. You dont have to use it but with only attributes every hit you receive is gonna hurt as hell
I have base stats in magic and 1 shot almost every boss in the game. Yokai abilities and burst counter are broken mechanics
I wouldnt say its essential but it's really strong. If you know you'll get hit, use that omnyo.
