    My brother committed suicide in 1997, and I remember this song came out not too long after that. This song helped me release a lot of emotions related to that. It still does. I still listen to this.

    The apple juice is literal, him reminiscing on the past and memories. The tell mom it's not her fault is referring to him taking his life.

    you great guys did exactly like i did. first a party song, but after realising the lyrics, it is one of the toughest songs, i heard.
    no complains, this goes deep.

    Listen to the last verse again. Mark now sings 'tomorrow holds such better days.' 16 may seem to have held better days, but hold on. Tomorrow will bring more of those better days. We all go through those rough spots.
