i have a pretty much stock 2wd slash, my xl5 esc burt out and i was wondering if you had a spare one if not i will get a brush less system but idk what to get i'm pretty new to this
I'm about to kill myself. Just bought a used traxxas slash 2wd vxl. It worked when i tested it at the sellers house. So i bought it. I was so happy. When i came home i put the battery in. And i tried to give it some throttle and it didnt move but it could turn. So i read online that the esc may be broken. The seller didnt want it back. He was like "it worked when i sold it to you" and he wouldnt answer my calls. So does traxxas have lifetime warrenty on electronics or something. I tried to call them but the numbers on the website didnt work. Maybe couse i live in sweden idk. What should i do? I cant afford a new 250$ esc. When i just bought a 230$ car. I just want to die right now. I cant sell it either couse i got it as a birthday gift and no wants to buy a broken slash. Pls tell me what to do.... :'(
+Braden Wuesthoff its solid red, and it doesnt blink or change color when i give it throttle. i tried to change the motor but it didnt work. but i tried my vxl-3m esc and it worked. so its the esc. will traxxas help me???
+Joel Ljungberg okay i know this. i have this happen a lot when i first started it. what you have done is what i have always known it as "Fat Fingering" (its what my Local hobby shop guy always called it) basicly you held the button too long and the ESC got messed up a little. all you have to do is Recalibrate the ESC and it should work agian. ill find a video to help you

What color is the light on the esc when no throttle is applied

You can contact Traxxas customer service. Search the phone number online. I find their customer service is good!
