I think that people forget that there is a lot more that goes into the E score than just wobbles. Look at Carlottas form. Compare Carlottas leaps to Musty's leap? Compare their toe point. Compare their knees when they do flics or BHS's. Compare their switch ring. Carlotta probably got a toe point/head not far back enough/ height/ and landing deductions, where Musty just got the landing deduction. Its impossible to say exactly where the deductions came, but form is just as important as landings
Everyone stop hating on Mustafina. She seems sooooo tired because she is being worked way too hard because she is Russia's only chance of earning a medal (other than Anna's beam if she hits PERF). And anyway, she does have a lot more expression, pointed toes, and more beautiful lines than alot of others. Regardless, Mustafina only pulls it out when she needs it, and thats All Around and Event Finals. And above all, none of you should be complaining because none of you could do half those skills.

If you're talking about Kyla either her or Aliya could have gotten the gold. I think it came down to the dismount. Aliya stuck hers and Kyla didnt simple as that. However, if you're referring to all the other beam finalists they all either fell or made costly errors. None of the others DESERVED gold.
She is top 15 in individual medals. Next year I am guessing 3 medals is do-able, she will be # 6. And if she makes it all the way to 2016, she will be close to Khorki! The Americans may have great one hit wonders, but the Russians will probably end up 1-2-3 in medal count (classifying Latynina as Russian because she trained under the Russian system).
Ross didn't have the highest execution scores across the board. She only had the highest on floor. It was Biles on vault and bars and Iordache on beam. If you're talking about her combined execution for AA then she has the highest for that.

True. I still miss those days, when even if the skill was easy it looked beautiful. Biles is a very powerful gymnast and a good one, but her movements didn't look as polished as Mustafina's. Even if her new floor is boring as hell, with a fantastic music, Mustafina's movement are very soft. Except for her twist form.
I like Mustafina, she's an artist, expecially on floor exercises. But can you tell me why, with those losses of balance (on this beam), did she get a so-high EXECUTION score? If you watch Ferlito's beam she always mantains balance, but her score is lower. I understand that Aliya's beam is more difficult but now we're talking about EXECUTION. Mine is a sincere question since I'm not a real expert in artistic gymnastics :)

The judges don’t just count off for wobbles, but also for things like flexed feet and bent knees on leaps, and also for not getting into the right position. Musty has almost textbook form on every element and thats why her e score is what is it is.
So the judges plan to give her a 15 if she doesn't fall? That' such a joke, Russian gymnasts like her and Komova get E score close to 9 even with a lot of wobbles, I guess the Soviet history in the sports gives them extra 0.5 bonus everytime
