Darren has a twang because he grew up in Canada...he first joined a singing competition there before moving to the Philippines to join The Voice Kids Philippines when he was like 12. i think he's 18 now. his voice is as amazing now as it was in this video, just more matured, of course.

Since singing is one of our favorite activities whenever there are parties or family gathering. Most filipino don't have a training....because mostly of us don't have enough money to be on training what we do is to keep practicing our vocals in karaoke. And for proper pronunciation of English it's normal for us because English is one of our major language here in the Philippines
it^s natural for Darren and he just trained while in the competition... koreans practice a lot in a training center with a vocal coaches but Filipino^s just practice in a video ok or while in a competitions ..
