God I love the tl. Not too flashy but definitely kicks when you need it to. Seen this car with all camber and man it looks good. Any suggestions where to get new rear tail lights and a left mirror. Mine are both cracked lol

Nice car what coilovers did you run at first ? And how do they ride , also does your car shift a little hard going from 1 to 2nd in auto too? or is that just normal on all because I’ve heard so many different things
I had Godspeed coilovers. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Shift around 1st and 2nd is gonna be jerky. So it’s pretty common.
you mod tf outta it you got it for 3200 how many miles and how long do you expect it to last?? NICE CAR!
I wish there was a different front bumper kit other than the A-spec. The rear is fire, but I'm not feeling the look of the front. The only thing to set it apart is adding a splitter. As an 08 TL owner and enthusiast, this is my only gripe, I swear. It'd be nice to shop for kits, and not just see A-spec for every result.
I honestly agree, I always wanted to convert the front to something a little different.
The gerzybear/versus bumper is nice but imo it is too extreme for a street car. It would be nice to see an oem+ bumper that angles out instead of into the useless Acura logo.

And do you have any idea how much it would cost approximately to change the leather on the seats ? What’s your kind of tyres called . What other types do you suggest in the price range . Thanks
They’re Aodhan ds05, the finish I have on them are pretty rare to acquire. Luckly I’m selling my wheels. Aodhan is good entry level for after market wheels and any tire brand is fine. Leather should cost a little over 1k depending which seats you’re doing.
Where do you buy the sports fenders that fit the Acura? I have the same one and I have searched and I can't find where to get it
Not that I know of. The only fenders I mostly see is carbon fiber and if you want a sporty fender. Mostly likely you’ll have to make it yourself
The 07-08 aspect front fits the 05 TL? Was it easy to install

Me being one year into my TL and having spent about $2,500-$3,000 on its all been on repairs. The most ive done is slotted rotors :(

I mainly kept it well maintained. I always replace the transmission filter as well

I am almost on my 1st month or ownership, i have a 06 6sp base that i am looking to build aswell. What advice can you give me. I am all the way stock RN.
I will write a list of what i have figured out from watching videos non stop for week.

3. Coilovers (($765))

5. Headlights. (($600))

Good start off list to keep yourself busy. First thing I recommend is maintenance and repairs first. Always good to have a car running before building

You can fit quads but measure the cut out forst

18x9.5 +30 with a 15mm spacer in front and 25mm spacer in the rear
So the front lip when I look it up it says it’s for the type s , would it fit a base model ? Is yours base model ?
Mine is a base, if you want to fit a type s lip. You’ll need to cut into your bumper if it’s a base model

I bought an 06 Acura TL and the previous owner slapped 20in rims on it with 2 different tire sizes on both front and back. It's been a nightmare. I'm in the market for 18in rims and a decent coilover set. Due to him putting the 20's on instead of him trying to roll the fenders he just pulled them and now they are all disfigured (yeah I'm going to have to replace both front fenders) it's a white acura and I found some AVID1 AV6 18X9.5 +32 rims I plan to put all the way around. Should I go with rims with less offset? I just don't want to bite off more than I can chew here.
That offset should fit fine. But Jesus, 20” 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@Leek_ee what coilovers did you end up going with? Also did you get a camber kit as well as the coilovers? I managed to sell those 20s for more than what I paid for the 18’s lol. Replaced both fenders, now I need coilovers and probably a camber kit. Every time I watch this video your car just looks cleaner and cleaner

I drive the 04 but I've been debating on a duck bill or just a mid level spoiler. Currently I have the stock spoiler which looks okay but curious about your opinion if you were to pick a different spoiler since I don't know many people with a tl
The duckbill is good for looks and also mid level spoiler. I would look into those forsure and also get a rear a-spec lip to give the rear a good look

You have to take apart the headlight. Use excessive heat

So the 1 thing is the exhaust the I need to improve, I have other cars and I haven't tough the TL for 2 Years. Going to take the fuel out everything and oil and put new rear sway bar on the back 24 what you think I so this in other video?
