Antibiotics got rid of it after two rounds, and strict diet made things better for a while but the flare ups are still happening and now I’m worried if this is my reality. Yes it is a serious condition. But not all intestinal metaplasia cases proceed to cancer. You should avoid food that irritates your stomach/intestines. Don't eat high salt foods. Search online to know more...
