    This was a very insightful video. Thanks

      Will you please consider creating a video series wherein you show how to parametrically model a complete bridge in the near future.

      @@evanslion3548 Yes, it is on my to-do list. problem is: that I don't have many bridges to work on. If you have any, send them to my e-mail and I will take a look.

    You are my Favorit Revit TH-camr.your Videos are super helpfull.
    Can you make an vedeo where you build an Sheet pile anchoring that is parametric? Keep ging my friend i will follow

      Thank you so much for the kind words! much appreciated🤗 I have created a parametric steel sheet pile, it's on my channel. If you want anything specific please feel free to send me an E-mail of the product and I can create it for you

    Good morning, would there be a way to always position it horizontally? without lateral cant?

    • @EngineerBear90

      Hey, If I understand your question correctly, to always position it horizontally just dont ad or type in any numbers for in the roation parameter.

      Thank you very much for the quick answer. @EngineerBear90.
      I mean that in this family, when the nodes are at the same height, you define the transversal slope with the initial and final angle.
      But when the nodes of the spline are at different heights, the transverse slope is generated by itself, it does not remain horizontal.
      I want the platform to always remain horizontal and not twist with the spline. Do you know if it would be possible?

    • @EngineerBear90

      Okey, I think I understand. That is correct! You can rotate it with the rotate parameter back to horizontal (a bit of manual work) You can also try to impliment two more adaptive points at both ends of the cross-section, also adding two more curves for the bridge(either generate it with dyanmo or get thi curves from "TheRoadPeople". Iam planing to make more bridge videos, but wont be before summer atleast. You can also send me the bridge to my E-mail if you want to so I can check it out. @@ibligah

    Hi there!
    Great tutorial!
    If I want to model an SBG with changing of thickness of the bottom slab in the same piece of SBG, how would you suggest modelling it using the same method?

    • @EngineerBear90

      Hey! Thank you!
      I will drop a video about modeling a box girder with varying height 3.juni. In that video I will use two splines and a cross-section containing two adaptive points.

    I am working on balanced Cantilever Bridge, how can the bottom hight of box girder varying?

  • @MohammadAdnan-ql3vj

    Can i do it without adaptive points ?

    • @EngineerBear90

      Yes, you dont really need the adaptive points to create the bridge, just create or import a fixed curve and create points on the curve and place out the profile.

      @@aparajitadas2706 That's definitely a more intricate task! However, you can incorporate an adaptive point at the bottom of your box girder cross-section. You'll need an additional line (curved or spline with points) at the bottom to accommodate the varying part. This can be achieved using Dynamo or by simply duplicating the centerline you already have. If you'd like, feel free to email me your bridge, and I'd be happy to examine it.
