Nice review. Just got mine two weeks ago. Having fun with it, but I noticed there's a lot of hate for CANiK guns in other forums on FB.. LOL. My first CANiK. So far so good. Slapped on the Holosun 508T and Surefire X300-A. The light doesn't sit flush on the trigger guard, but it's stable as hell.
A lot of the hate is nonsense. It’s because it’s a Turkish gun, and it seems people started hating more when the TTI came out. IMO the TTI is fantastic, once you get your hands on it you realize the craftsmanship that went into it. Spiral fluted barrel is 👌🏽
Mine is definitely running smooth right out of the box…. 350 RDS, no cleaning….. gonna run another 200 this weekend so I can do my 500 round review. Great video as usual Bro!
Unfortunately it's hit or miss with this one. The influencers don't seem to have any problems but the public is sending them back. It's a cool gun for movie fan boys but everyone else is complaining. This is according to my extensive research. Chipped strikers, Failure to go into battery, poor Ciricoat. I have a TP9FX which needed a new trigger. Also according to your video, the compensator isn't doing anything so it's a waste of about three hundred dollars. Most gun people don't care about those extras since we already own that stuff. I have a S&W M&P with a new trigger which out performs the TP9FSX. I might buy a Rival Steel which will out perform this one.
Had identical issue to yours. Sent it in and they polished ramp-replaced firing pin assembly and replaced recoil spring with a green colored end. Took 6 weeks to get it back. Now they have gone over it have put 500 rds through it without a failure. Really fun to run speed plates with it
The extra spring is for different ammo loads. Based on round speed dictates which spring should be used. 1K over/under round speed. Run a MeCanik M3 on it. They sell a model with it included.
Just got mine back off repair. Multiple issues- Failure to fire, chipped feed ramp after 100 rounds, almost no rifling in the barrel ( would sling rounds like a freggin shotgun.)
My m17x blows my canik tti combat out of the water. Only the trigger is better on the canik and not by much. Everything else Sig is just superior for this type of platform; polymer
@Reepa008 I personally haven't shot it but for the average user, the Canik performs flawlessly and is competition ready. They also had in mind for the people who wanted to edc this, it hits all of those boxes and goes above. When I compare it to the M17x it's merely to knit pick. For $1k this is the gun you want to add to your collection, not to mention all of the goodies that come with it. My only gripe is in case their is a feed failure for whatever reason the regular size magazine is very hard to get out. The 4 round extended base plate is superior. I also put on a thumb rest on mine and it gave me more real-estate for my left thumb. Also, unlike the M17X/M18X the optic that comes with the Canik is decent but I would upgrade that to a Trij SRO first chance. I found the sight to be a little foggy although it still performed as intended.
@@Korpzgrindr I'm just really not feeling this new canik not saying it's not a reliable gun I think people buying it for the looks of it! I will pick Glock for reliable then cannik or the M17 sig sauer
@Reepa008 Canik is a faster shooter than all of them and the best trigger. The rest you can modify. Worth is perspective and is dictated by how much money you're using. It's a collectors gun for the collaboration. Like I've stated the M17X/M18X is far superior especially with the M17 Romeo optic which is arguably the best optic on the market

Throw a 507 Comp on there!
Yea that's what I use. Perfect for this pistol. No plate and can use the irons if nessasary.

Modlite and a 507 comp. Go big and have It shooting smooooooth
I wish it were available in California.
you dont need a red dot, you just need to learn to shoot irons lol. if you cant hit with the irons that come on that pistol, its a you problem
Okay boomer. 0 upsides to purely using irons. Faster target acquisition, better FoV, and can still use irons if it malfunctions.
The dot is superior in every aspect other than irons not having batteries. Shoot what you enjoy.
Just bought one of your holsters for it!
I bought mine from you. Put a trijicon sro and a stream light tlr7x
It'll be 507c ACSS Vulcan for this bad boy.
SRO x TRL1 = perfection
507 comp and trl1
Had to send mine back to the factory. 1st time out, none of the Mags would lock up. Every shot - Mag fell out. SUPER disapointed so far!
My Rival did the exact same thing.
Mecanik m03 😊
I still think that M17 p320 way better then this gun trigger M17 is way better

@@Korpzgrindr I heard that new Smith M&P comp is way better than canik
