BETTY'S BAY PARKRUN 1 OCTOBER 2022

Some highlights of the Betty's Bay Parkrun on 1 October 2022. With flowers blooming all over Harold Porter Botanical Garden, the spirit runs high and there is friendly banter around. Three 25 milestones were achieved and many visitors made use of the school break to come to Betty's Bay. Genevieve Wilton from Los Angeles tells us that it is only her 2nd Parkrun (previous one was also in Betty's Bay) and she is doing it to have somefamily time with her dad, Les Wilton from Pretoria, who has done more than 60. The Parkwalker Blue Jacket is worn for the first time and the wearer, Monty Maré, tells us why it is an important addition to Parkruns.
