Saying- really straight at the time-feels very relatable. I wonder if that, in part, is the reason why the show has to reach out to potential applicants (already publicly out on social media) because it's perhaps harder for BBC to gauge if there would be enough interest to hold an open audition process for applicants willing to take part in this show. I feel like closeted or not-yet-knowing queer women would feel uncomfortable being so public on this type of reality show, therefore reducing potential cast numbers. Hopefully, this first season (which I also came to later) will spark wider interest in those who are already out and willing to put themselves in this microscopic dating situation .
