"I HAVE MOVED" TANGENT (Beatbox Electronic Music)

So about a few months ago I decided to take this path to take my music/art/looping and beatboxing to the next level. You know I’m a fine art graduate, I studied film, art and installation at Newport University so combining all my creative practices together is what drives me and keeps me going as an artist. You know like all creatives I feel like I’m withering a way if I’m not doing something creative!
I’ve spent nearly one year constructing/making and editing this song/video. This is the first ever music video I’ve ever produced and edited. I took my camera tripod and a flask of water with a few munchies and recorded this video up the scenic mountain in my home village in Abercarn. Some absolute beautiful exquisite scenery up there. And I thoroughly enjoyed running and bouncing around like a mad man recording this video in the Welsh Valleys.😂
Also as a Bahá’í and someone who is obsessed with electronic music, I feel I wanted to fuse these two sides of myself together. I don’t think there’s anyone in the Bahá’í community doing what I’m doing right now. I feel like there are many ways to express ones love for God, ones love for Baha’u’llah. And for me this obsession/gift of beatboxing and looping is just that.
Abdul Baha says, "I rejoice to hear that thou takest pains with thine art, for in this wonderful new age, art is worship. The more thou strivest to perfect it, the closer wilt thou come to God. What bestowal could be greater than this, that one’s art should be even as the act of worshipping the Lord? That is to say, when thy fingers grasp the paintbrush, it is as if thou wert at prayer in the Temple."
All in all this is where I’m taking my artistic expression. Of course I’ll still continue to make cool beatboxing and looping videos but as most of you know, performance, film and music is where my heart is at.
Hope you enjoy this piece, my goal is to make you feel happy, to put a smile on your face. Baha’u’llah says “music is a ladder to the soul”. And I hope I you can all feel that in this song😊.
