I think the thing that really stands out about your videos is your design eye. Your craft skills are great aswell, but there's a lot of great makers on YT. There are not many makers with as good a design style (both in terms of aesthetics and function) as you. Excellent work.
It is red brick is used in construction . In my country is always available. And I don't know that your country have or not?

You can’t expect fill water in and put fish in right away when there is cement involves. The cement release toxic chemicalz and kill fish right away

If you don’t want to use cement and purify the toxic than use a pond liner/ pond tarp. Or even Epoxy paint once cure is safe.
