Thanks for the video. It is good to see fathers and sons doing projects together. I really hope you guys have a GFCI for EACH pump. It's not about the man telling you what to do, it is about protecting every person who gets into that pool or walks around that yard barefoot.
My concerns here is the safety hazzard due the installation performed. A quite a few NEC articles violations: 680.6, 680.22 (bonding, clearance, receptacle location, GFCI protection, etc.....) To many NEC violation. ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZZARD.
👏👏👏. Not my Daddy…. Although safety is always important, it’s almost always situational based…. We’ll take your advise into consideration……. NOW BACKOFF!!!!!
I would not let these clowns near a battery powered flashlight let alone my pool pump. Maybe the outlet should be just a bit closer to the pool, I mean its not touching the wall yet.
crazy, gotta be some code violation with that electric panel exactly next to splashing water pool even with that electric box which is actually water resistant not water proof. careful not to electrify the area. good luck.

@@HillCountryHomestead Why would you NOT put GFCI plugs there? Not having a GFCI is my biggest concern.

Outlets by water needs to be a GFCI
Always!
gfci Outlets need to be 6 feet away from the pool
Its easy to find what code is in your area guys
Need a GFI. Lmao don’t ask me how I know. I wish I could find a link for you for the hoses I used years ago.
The fitting on the filter is the same size as the pump. Just buy the fitting and glue it to the flex hose.Threads are the same 2''
That outlet is to close!!!! TO the pool

where is your GFI?
A 2HP pump is an overkill. A 3/4 HP is more than enough.
